Skerda macolis is an annual or biennial herb, the height of which will fluctuate between ten and eighty centimeters. The root of this plant can be either oblique or vertical. The length of the basal and lower stem leaves of this plant will not exceed twenty centimeters, and the width will be equal to four to five centimeters. Baskets of macolis skerda are in a loose inflorescence, which for the most part will be complex corymbose, while such baskets will be drooping before flowering. The flowers of this plant are colored in yellow tones, and can also be reddish-purple on the outer surface of the reeds. The length of the corolla of the makolistnaya skerda will be about nine to twenty millimeters, and the width of the tongue will be about two millimeters. Achenes are of two types, while the marginal achenes are colored in light brown tones, their width does not reach one millimeter, and the length turns out to be equal to five to seven millimeters. As for the internal achenes, they are endowed with a brown color, their width is half a millimeter, and their length is ten to thirteen millimeters.

The flowering of skerda makolistnaya falls on the period from July to August. Under natural conditions, this plant is found on the territory of the Crimea, Belarus, the Caucasus, the Carpathians and the Dnieper region of Ukraine, as well as the following regions of the European part of Russia: Nizhnevolzhskiy, Nizhnedonskiy and Prichernomorskiy regions. For growth, this plant prefers stony and grassy slopes, sandy soils, places among shrubs and steppes up to the upper mountain belt.

Description of the medicinal properties of skerda makolistnaya

Skerda macolis is endowed with very valuable healing properties, while it is recommended to use the herb of this plant for medicinal purposes. The presence of such valuable medicinal properties should be explained by the content of rubber in the composition of this plant.

It is noteworthy that in the experiment it was proved that a tincture based on the herb of skerda macolis has the ability to provide diuretic, hypotensive, vasodilatory and cardiotonic effects. In the Caucasus, an infusion prepared on the basis of the herb skerda makolistnaya is indicated for use as a very effective wound-healing and hemostatic agent.

In case of bleeding, it is recommended to use the following very effective healing agent based on this plant: for the preparation of such a drug, you will need to take one tablespoon of chopped dry herb scherda macolis for one full glass of boiling water. The resulting healing mixture should first be left to infuse for about one hour, after which this medicinal mixture must be very thoroughly filtered. The resulting drug is taken on the basis of macawater skerda in one or two tablespoons for various bleeding. To achieve the most effective result, it is important to strictly follow all the rules for preparing such a healing agent.
