Description of the medicinal properties of meat-red chamomile
Meat-red chamomile is endowed with very valuable healing properties, while it is recommended to use flower baskets of this plant for medicinal purposes. It is recommended to harvest such medicinal raw materials throughout the entire flowering period of this plant.
The presence of such valuable healing properties is recommended to be explained by the content of a poisonous resinous substance called pyrethrin in the flower baskets of this plant. Pyrethrin will consist of a mixture of pyrethroline alcohol esters with chrysanthemum acids. It is noteworthy that this substance turns out to be very poisonous for various insects, but for humans it will be completely harmless.
As for traditional medicine, here this plant is quite widespread. Traditional medicine in many countries recommends using the crushed baskets of this plant in powder form to combat various harmful insects. Preparations based on meat-red chamomile, in which the content of pyrethrin is noted, are indicated for use for the extermination of flies, bedbugs, fleas and insects, which will be pests of agricultural plants and animal parasites. It is recommended to use the pyrethrum powder itself, as well as a special liquid called flicide. In addition, it is quite acceptable to use an alcoholic extract of meat-red chamomile or pyrethral extract.
Powder pyrethrum will be used to kill insects and other vectors of infectious diseases as follows: this will require pollinating the places where such insects accumulate at the rate of about six to ten grams of powder per square meter.
In order to get rid of head lice, it is recommended to dust the linen at the rate of six to eight grams of powder per pair, while bedding is dusty at the rate of fifteen to twenty grams per set, and fifteen grams of this powder is used to dust outerwear. All of the above procedures should be performed approximately once every six to eight days, which must be explained by the fact that this powder will not kill insect eggs, but will only affect the insects themselves. One should not forget about the important circumstance that such a medicinal powder should be stored in a dry and dark place. It is important to note that with regular and competent use, the positive effect will be noticeable rather quickly.
