Description of Telesius wormwood

Telesius wormwood is a perennial plant whose height will fluctuate between ten and seventy centimeters. The stems of this plant are single or few, they will come out of a more or less thick rhizome. These stems will be simple and erect. The leaves of the Telesius wormwood are almost naked above, pinnately dissected, they can be either green or slightly cobweb-hairy and grayish, and they will be whitish below. The baskets of this plant will be broadly bell-shaped or almost spherical, they will reach about four to six millimeters in diameter, they will be in a loose or dense racemose-paniculate inflorescence, and their length is three to twelve centimeters. There are only nine marginal flowers of this plant, they are bisexual, and the corolla will be two-toothed and narrow-tubular. The flowers of the Telesius wormwood are numerous, up to sixty pieces, they will be median and bisexual, and the corolla, in turn, is narrow-rounded-conical. The seedlings of this plant will be oblong-linear.

The telesius wormwood blooms in the month of August. Under natural conditions, this plant is found on the territory of the Ob region of Western Siberia, the Leno-Kolymsky and Yenisei regions of Eastern Siberia, the Dvinsko-Pechora region of the European part of Russia, the Arctic, as well as in the Kamchatka region and in the north of the Okhotsk region in the Far East. For the growth of wormwood, Telesius prefers groves, shrubs, meadows, rocky talus slopes, steep slopes of river terraces, sea coasts and lake basins, sandy-clayey shores of lakes and rivers.

Description of the medicinal properties of Telesius wormwood

Telesius wormwood is endowed with very valuable healing properties, while it is recommended to use the herb of this plant for medicinal purposes. The concept of grass includes inflorescences, stems and leaves. The presence of such valuable medicinal properties is recommended to be explained by the content of the following sesquiterpenoids in the composition of this plant: matricarin, sterartelisin and deacetylmatcarin.

Tincture prepared on the basis of the herb of this plant on vodka is used as a wound-healing and hemostatic agent. The herb Telesius wormwood as part of complex collections is used for urolithiasis, epilepsy, cholelithiasis and hypertension.

For epilepsy, it is recommended to use the following very effective remedy based on Telesius wormwood: to prepare such a remedy, you will need to take one tablespoon of dry crushed herb of this plant per three hundred milliliters of water. The resulting healing mixture should be boiled over a fairly low heat for about three to four minutes, leave to infuse for one hour and then strain thoroughly. The received healing agent based on Telesius wormwood is taken three times a day, one third or one fourth of the glass. With proper use, such a healing agent will be very effective.
