The oriental plane tree is endowed with very valuable healing properties, while it is recommended to use the leaves, roots and bark of the trunks of this plant for medicinal purposes.

The presence of such valuable healing properties is recommended to be explained by the content of sitosterol and triterpenoids in the bark of the trunk of this plant, while the following phenolcabonic acids will be present in the leaves: caffeic and p-coumaric acids, as well as flavonoids, anthocyanins in the hydrolyzate delphinidin and cyanidin. The fruits will contain sitosterol, higher aliphatic alcohols and their derivatives, as well as the higher aliphatic hydrocarbon p-heptriacontane.

As a hemostatic agent, it is recommended to use the following healing agent based on this plant: to prepare such a healing agent, you will need to take twenty grams of crushed eastern sycamore roots in one glass of boiling water. The resulting healing mixture should be boiled in a water bath for about twenty minutes, after which this mixture should be very thoroughly filtered.
