Usually marsh forget-me-not is endowed with single, ascending or erect stems, while the leaves of this plant, in turn, will be either linear-lanceolate or lanceolate. It is noteworthy that such leaves can be spatulate, in addition, they will be sharp or dull, their length is about three to eight centimeters, and their width is one to two centimeters. One third of the calyx of this plant will be divided into wide-triangular teeth, it is narrowly bell-shaped, pubescent by means of adjacent, short and straight hairs. The swamp forget-me-not corolla is painted in blue tones, but it can be either white or pink, and its diameter will be about six to eleven millimeters. After the corolla falls off, the stigma will immediately be exposed from the cup. The fruits of the marsh forget-me-not are nuts without a prunus, which will be painted in black tones.
The flowering of this plant occurs in the summer period. Under natural conditions, this plant is found on the territory of Ukraine, Belarus, Central Asia, Western and Eastern Siberia, as well as in the European part of Russia, with the exception of the Crimea and the Nizhne-Volzhsky region. For the growth of forget-me-not, the marsh prefers wet meadows, swamps, forests, the banks of reservoirs, ranging from lowlands to the mid-mountain zone. This plant is also decorative.
Description of the medicinal properties of forget-me-not marsh
Forget-me-not marsh is endowed with very valuable healing properties, while for medicinal purposes it is recommended to use the herb of this plant, juice and powder of the aerial part of this plant. The seeds will contain higher aliphatic hydrocarbons.
