Description of the medicinal properties of foxglove woolly

Woolly foxglove is endowed with very valuable healing properties, while it is recommended to use the leaves of this plant for medicinal purposes. The presence of such valuable medicinal properties should be explained by the content of saponins, phytosterols, flavonoids, phenolic acids and cardiotonically inactive glycosides in the leaves of this plant. The seeds of this plant will contain lanafolein, digitalalinum verum and digitalanol glycosides.

However, it is important to remember that an overdose of cardiac glycosides will be accompanied by very specific symptoms: vomiting and nausea, ventricular fibrillation, bradycardia and fibrillation. It is noteworthy that the nausea, which most often occurs before the rhythm disturbance itself, will be a symptom of an overdose that may have occurred.

It should be noted that the digoxin-based drug will be excreted fairly quickly from the body. Already two days after taking the last dose of this drug, it will almost completely disappear from the body. It is this period that will determine the long-term possible side effects.

Preparations prepared on the basis of this plant are recommended for use in myocarditis, myodegeneration, decompensated heart defects, in attacks of paroxysmal tachycardia, as well as in heart failure, which will be associated with nephritis and hypertension.
