As for the maintenance of this plant during the dormant period, it will be necessary to regularly maintain the temperature in the range between five and ten degrees of heat. In this case, watering should be rare. The dormant period begins in the month of October and lasts until February: in indoor conditions, such a dormant period is forced. And the reasons for the occurrence of a dormant period will be low illumination and an insufficient degree of air humidity.

Reproduction of crenate calceolaria can occur both by sowing seeds and by cuttings. As for grafting, this procedure should be performed even when pruning this plant.

The surprisingly attractive flowers of crenate calceolaria are endowed with decorative properties. The leaves of this plant are painted in green tones, the basal leaves will be oval-ovoid in shape, their lobes are quite well expressed. The leaves are on very long petioles, while the stem leaves will be short-petiolate, opposite and sessile. The flowering of this plant usually occurs in the summer period, as for the color of the flowers, they can be both white and yellow, and red, and even orange.
