Description of the Crimean iron

The Crimean iron is a perennial herb that is gray, which is caused by a very dense tomentose pubescence. The stem of this plant will woody from the very base. There are only a few flowering shoots, and besides them there are also shortened non-flowering shoots. The length of the leaves is about three centimeters, such leaves can be either oblong or reverse lanceolate. These leaves are either sharp or obtuse, and also vaguely crenate-serrate. The inflorescence of this plant will be spike-shaped and elongated, such an inflorescence is dense, or intermittent in the lower part. Bracts are either triangular or heart-shaped, they are pointed, can be either yellowish or grayish-green. Corolla is pale yellow in color.

The flowering of the Crimean iron is in the summer period. It should be noted that this plant is found on the territory of the Crimea. For growth, the plant prefers talus, limestone outcrops, pastures and stony steppe slopes. The Crimean iron is also an ornamental plant.

Description of the medicinal properties of the Crimean iron

As for traditional medicine, here the infusion and decoction of this plant is used as an anti-febrile remedy. Infusion of the herb of the Crimean iron is used for vomiting and nausea, and the infusion of flowers is quite effective in the treatment of lung diseases. It should be noted that the sum of flavonoids in the composition of this plant in the experiment is endowed with hypotensive properties.

The leaves and inflorescences of the Crimean iron can be used as a surrogate for tea: this drink will be endowed with a very noticeable lemon aroma.

With nausea and vomiting, you can use the following rather effective plant based on the Crimean glandular: to prepare such a remedy, you will need to take three tablespoons of chopped dry grass in half a liter of boiling water. It is recommended to insist such a remedy for one hour, after which the resulting mixture is filtered very carefully. Take such a remedy based on this plant, half a glass two to three times a day through slow sips.

In case of bronchitis and pneumonia, it is recommended to use a very effective remedy based on this plant: to prepare such a remedy, you will need to take one teaspoon of Crimean iron flowers per one glass of boiling water. The resulting mixture should be infused for thirty to forty minutes, after which such a mixture is filtered very carefully. This remedy is taken on the basis of the Crimean iron, one third of a glass or half a glass three to four times a day. In order to achieve the desired efficiency when taken, you should strictly follow all the rules of preparation, and all the rules of reception of this remedy.
