After drying, the corolla will turn dark brown in color. also the rim is endowed with a tube enclosed in a cup, the length of which is equal to three millimeters. The bloom of the mountain iron falls on the period from June to September. In natural conditions, the plant is found on the territory of Moldova, the Caucasus, Central Asia, as well as in the Dnieper region, the Carpathians and southern Ukraine. Also, this plant can be found in the following regions of the European part of Russia: in the Volga region, the Far East and in the Black Sea region. For growth, the plant prefers rocks, stony and sandy slopes, steppes, meadows and fallows. The plant is weedy and occurs up to the mid-mountain zone. This plant is a melliferous plant and is also poisonous to horses.
Description of the medicinal properties of the mountain iron
The mountain iron is endowed with quite valuable healing properties, while it is recommended to use the herb of this plant for medicinal purposes. Grass includes leaves, stems and flowers.

The resulting mixture should be infused for two hours, and then this mixture is filtered very carefully. Take such a remedy one third or one fourth of a glass three times a day.
In case of bronchitis, acute respiratory diseases and pneumonia, the following remedy should be used based on the mountain gland: for the preparation of such a remedy, take two tablespoons of a mixture of this plant, coltsfoot leaves, yarrow herb and a series of four hundred milliliters of boiling water. The resulting mixture is infused for two hours, and then carefully filtered. Take this remedy one third of a glass three to four times a day.
