Siberian cedar is a representative of the Pine family, but does not belong to the genus called "Cedar", whose trees have inedible seeds, but to the genus "Pine", and therefore it is more correct to call it "Siberian cedar pine".

Again, the Cedars grow quite quickly, and the Siberian Cedar Pine is distinguished by its sedateness, it is in no hurry to mature, adorning the Earth with its presence from 300 to 800 years. So, if Ivan the Terrible remained only on the canvases of artists and in historical books, then the Cedar Pines, which are the same age as the tsar, still observe human activities, often shaking their evergreen branches disapprovingly.

Habit

Since the cedar pine is in no hurry to grow, it begins to bloom at the age of 15, if it grows in a sparse forest. If there are many neighbors that take away some of the nutrients of the earth and obscure the sun, then the first June bloom can take place at 40, or even 50 years. So, after forty, a full life begins not only with the famous Russian actress.

Unlike women who strive to keep up with fashion and change outfits at least two years later, Cedar Pine is in no hurry to part with its dark green soft needles covered with a bluish bloom, wearing an outfit from 3 to 7 years.

The mature egg-shaped cones of the cedar pine are located on the upper parts of the crown, giving people a lot of trouble in harvesting. Since they ripen only in the second year after flowering, then, as a rule, one summer is considered successful for their collection, and in the second summer only big lovers of cedar grains go to the taiga.

During its long life, Siberian cedar pine grows up to 40 meters in height, and only two or three people can grasp its trunk.

Life-giving cedar oil

The fabulous chemical composition of pine nuts, which helps a person to maintain a heroic working capacity, improves the composition of human blood, prevents a lot of diseases that are waiting for a person around every corner, including such as anemia and tuberculosis, simply fades before the life-giving power of pine nut oil.
