The planting of plants on the beds is done at a distance of about 20-30 cm. It depends on the variety of marigolds - it is undersized or tall. After transplanting, the seedlings are mulched. Sawdust is well suited for this. And water the beds.
If you live in a windy place, it is advisable to provide a support for tall flowers. But as experienced flower growers advise, if the wind tilted tall marigolds to the ground, there is no need to try to forcibly raise them. Over time, the tops will rise on their own, but the stems themselves often remain creeping along the ground.

When the plants develop normally and bloom, then you can refuse to feed. If the soil is poor, then organic and mineral fertilizers are applied twice a season.
And in order for the flowering to be longer, do not forget to remove the faded peduncles. Otherwise, seeds will start to form. And the plants will direct all their strength to this, and not to the formation of new buds.
