What can you not eat melon with and why?

Melon is one of our favorite fruits: juicy, sweet and healthy, it will always be in demand and popularity! Here are just a few people who know that an extremely appetizing melon is not compatible with all products, perhaps that is why, after plentiful feasts, where melon was served as a dessert, some of us feel unwell. With what products is it better not to combine a beautiful melon?

What causes incompatibility between products?

The product compatibility chart was developed for a reason: some products can indeed be consumed together, while others need to be separated. This is due to the fact that for their decomposition into individual components, the composition of the gastric juice must be different. That is why, in the compatibility table, all products are grouped into different groups according to their degradability and acidity. If you are guided by such a table, food will be easily broken down into separate components, and the stomach will never be overloaded for anything. Well, if you put food on the table, for the splitting of which gastric juice with an unequal composition is required, they will gradually begin to neutralize each other, which will inevitably entail a significant slowdown in the process of digesting food, as well as the emergence of severity and a number of other, no less unpleasant problems.

So, for the digestion of protein foods, acidic enzymes are needed, and starchy foods will be successfully fermented only in an alkaline environment - which is why meat is extremely unimportant to digest with a side dish of such a favorite potato or porridge, but a cabbage side dish is ideal for it (and this must be taken on a note!). When salt is added, juicy greens of spinach and salad completely lose their benefits, a sandwich and aromatic coffee quickly mutually destroy each other's benefits, and green tea with the addition of milk is generally a completely useless combination!

There are also completely incompatible products. These include fresh milk - in an acidic environment, this valuable protein product instantly curdles. And, sadly, melon, beloved by many, belongs to this same category - it is incompatible with absolutely any food, therefore, ideally, it is recommended to eat it between meals, and the value of such time intervals should not be less than two hours!

Why can't melon be combined with any other food?

It is recommended to enjoy the excellent taste of juicy and fragrant melon only when the stomach is completely unloaded and ready for the next meal. As it turned out, the melon lingers in the stomach only for a very short time - the melon mass is completely digested already in the intestine. And if you prevent this process and try to keep the melon in the stomach, you can get a lot of trouble: the melon is not digested in the stomach, but rather quickly begins to ferment, as a result of which a person develops nausea, colic, diarrhea and flatulence. Therefore, experts always recommend eating melon separately! And in no case should you abandon it altogether, since it is very useful: it contains ten times more iron than milk or chicken meat, in addition, it is literally abundant in vitamin C, nicotinic acid and potassium! A high percentage of folic acid content makes melon an indispensable product for the elderly or people with weakened brain activity, and it is also useful for cardiovascular diseases, as well as for anemia or liver diseases. This wonderful fruit also contains an outlandish substance called seperoxide dismutase, which relieves fatigue and helps restore peace of mind. Well, how can you refuse such a healthy fruit? The main thing is to never eat a melon on an empty stomach, as this can lead not only to nausea, but also to bloating (such a delicacy is especially dangerous for people with various gastrointestinal problems)!

Melon is not recommended only for diabetics and people who want to lose weight. And in therapeutic diets, it is introduced only under the vigilant supervision of the attending physician.

What happens if you mix the melon with other foods?

In combination with various fermented milk products, as well as with milk, melon will in every possible way contribute to the creation of a violent laxative effect, so the idea of purchasing delicious yogurt with melon (especially for children) should be abandoned immediately.

Melon pulp is also incompatible with alcohol - in this case, you can get either severe constipation or no less severe diarrhea, and those who are not at all lucky will have to go to the ambulance to rinse the stomach. However, tidbits of melon are not washed down with water either - diarrhea, painful colic and violent fermentation will not take long in this case!

Also, do not try to feast on melons for nursing mothers, as this can lead to a noticeable loosening of the stool in the crumbs, which in turn is fraught with dehydration for the baby.

And in no case is melon combined with honey - even our ancestors knew that such a combination can easily lead to intestinal obstruction: they explained that as a result of the combined use of these products, a so-called "stone" is formed in the intestines, which will certainly provoke volvulus intestines. Of course, there are also such daredevils who eat melon with honey without any consequences, but even doctors are convinced that even people with ideal health should not take such risks. And people who have undergone abdominal surgery and have scars or adhesions, even thinking about it is impermissible! So experimenting at the cost of your own health is definitely not worth it! Better to eat the melon separately, because it is good in itself!
