And only after a lapse of time, the first edible varieties saw the light - the Turkish turban, Little Red Riding Hood and the Turban. These fruits, which weigh an average of four to five kilograms, have a rather sweet taste with pleasant nutty notes and boast similarities with delicious nutmeg varieties. By the way, the pulp of such fruits can be added to salads directly fresh, and some people even just eat it like apples! In most cases, these varieties have a variegated autumn color, while the color scheme is dominated mainly by orange color with a great many spots and strokes.
