There are also big pluses. After stopping, the plants acquire increased resistance to stress, they take root better after planting in the garden. Compared to ordinary seedlings, the bush is more stocky and developed. When planting in the ground, there is no need to deeply bury or bury in the ground while lying down.
The first brush is located lower, usually 25 cm from the ground. Flowering begins earlier, more brushes are formed on the plant (by 3-4 pcs.), On which the fruits have time to grow and ripen, and the harvest increases accordingly.
How is it grown in the Chinese way
The cultivation process begins as usual with the sowing of the seeds. The time is chosen during the waning of the moon, while in the sign of Scorpio. If desired, the seeds are processed in the usual ways or simply soaked in a damp cloth until they hatch.
It is advisable to do the pre-sowing procedure as follows: place the seeds in an infusion of ash for three hours (a liter of boiling water + 2 tablespoons of sifted ash, leave for 24 hours). Then incubate for 20 minutes in a manganese solution and then apply Epin's solution. After these "bathing" put in the refrigerator overnight.
A pick, as a rule, is carried out a month after sowing, when real leaves appear after cotyledonous leaves (2-3). Before the "operation" the seedlings are spilled the day before until the clod of earth is completely moistened.
Picking, pruning seedlings
It has been proven that the development of a plant is influenced by the condition of the roots. The best time to transplant is the waning moon. Manipulations with plants carried out during this period have a beneficial effect on the growth of the root system.
So, a month after sowing, we choose the right days for picking. At this time, the seedlings already have real leaves. It is necessary to prepare containers with soil for further cultivation, a jar / glass with Epin's aqueous solution, scissors.
When you are ready to work, start cutting. The sprout is cut almost to the root - below the cotyledonous leaves and immediately placed in water. Having cut the required amount - we begin planting in cups. There are no difficulties: a deepening is made in the moist soil, a stem is placed there, dripped in and watered with the remaining Epin solution.
When the event is over, you need to cover each planted tomato with a plastic cup. This will create a greenhouse effect and improve rooting. It is necessary to put the plants in a place where there is no backlight and no sunlight. After two or three days, the shelter is removed. And the cups are returned to the backlit place or sunny windowsill.
It is important to know that the survival rate is not 100%. There is a chance that 20-30% of plants will die after transplanting. Therefore, it is recommended to make a little more seedlings, with a margin.
The second method of grafting
The number of leaves on the seedlings does not matter. For cuttings, cut off the tops of the tomatoes and put them in a jar of water. After the roots appear, the stems are planted in cups for further growth.
Which land is better?
