Scabiosa pale yellow is a biennial or perennial herb, the height of which will fluctuate between thirty and one hundred thirty centimeters. The root of this plant is fusiform, it will develop single stems and a rosette of leaves, which will form the plant next year. The stem of the pale yellow scabiosa is curly-white-haired and erect. The diameter of the head of this plant will be about two to three centimeters, the flowers are painted in pale yellow tones, and outside they are pubescent. The length of the median flowers will be about five to seven millimeters, while the marginal ones are radial and will be twice as large. The pale yellow scabiosa wrapper is narrow-funnel-shaped, its length is three to four millimeters and such a wrapper will be endowed with eight faces. The crown width is equal to one to fifteen millimeters, it turns out to be three times shorter than the tube. The heads with the fruits of pale yellow scabiosa in outline are oblong, their diameter is about half a centimeter, and their length is one to one and a half centimeters.

The flowering of pale yellow scabiosa falls in the month of June, while the plant will bear fruit in the month of August. Under natural conditions, this plant is found on the territory of Belarus, Central Asia, Ukraine, Angara-Sayan, Daursky and Yenisei regions of Eastern Siberia, in all regions of Western Siberia, with the exception of only the southeast of the Ob region, as well as the European part of Russia, except for Ladoga Ilmensky, Karelo-Murmansk and Dvinsko-Pechora regions. For the growth of scabiosa, pale yellow prefers weeds, steppe meadows, steppes and sandy gravelly soils.

Description of the medicinal properties of pale yellow scabiosa

Scabiosa pale yellow is endowed with very valuable healing properties, while it is recommended to use the herb of this plant for medicinal purposes. Grass includes stems, flowers and leaves. It is recommended to harvest such medicinal raw materials throughout the entire flowering period of this plant. The presence of such valuable healing properties should be explained by the content of pale yellow alkaloids, quercetin, vitamin C, saponins, orchozid, flavonoids, phenol carboxylic acids and 7-glucopyranoside luteolin in the composition of scabiose. The roots will contain triterpenoids, alkaloids, oleic acid, the following phenolcarboxylic acids and their derivatives: chlorogenic and coffee. In the stems and leaves of pale yellow scabiosa are in turn triterpenoids.

An infusion prepared on the basis of the herb scabiosa pale yellow is recommended for use in syphilis, osteoalgia, pulmonary tuberculosis, fever, various diseases of the stomach and female diseases. Outwardly, such a drug is used to remove warts and for eye diseases, skin rashes, scabies, calluses, hemorrhoids and snake bites, and is also used as a very effective wound healing agent.

It is noteworthy that in the experiment it was proved that triterpenoids have the ability to induce the lysis of malignant tumors, while glucoluteolin of flowers will be endowed with anti-inflammatory effects. A water-alcoholic tincture based on pale yellow scabiose will in turn be endowed with anti-amebic activity.
