As for the general distribution, this plant is found in the Balkan Peninsula, Northwest China, Mongolia, Central Europe, Asia Minor, the Mediterranean, Afghanistan, Armenia, Irina and Kurdistan. For the growth of the finger pig, it prefers mountains, plains, sandy and cattle-knocked out places. It is noteworthy that this plant can quite often become a malicious weed.
Description of the medicinal properties of the finger pig
Pig finger is endowed with very valuable healing properties, while for therapeutic purposes it is recommended to use the entire aerial part of this plant and its root shoots.
In China, this plant is quite widespread. A decoction, prepared on the basis of about fifteen to thirty grams of grass and thirty to sixty grams of pork finger roots, is recommended to drink for dysentery, nosebleeds, rheumatic bone pain, upper respiratory tract infection, edema of the lower extremities, liver inflammation, hemiplegia, bloody vomiting, infectious infection of the urinary tract, nosebleeds, hemoptysis, urticaria, blood in the feces, rheumatic bone pain, various kinds of injuries, paralysis of the arms and legs.
With regard to the external use of this plant, then fresh leaves of the pork finger, crushed to a mushy mass, should be used in the form of a plaster for small sores on the legs, broken bones, small cut wounds and carbuncles.
