Description of the beautiful centaury

The beautiful centaury is an annual herb, the height of which will fluctuate between two and forty-five centimeters. The stems of this plant are tetrahedral, above or below the middle, they will be more or less abundantly branching, they are endowed with obliquely upward directed branches. It is noteworthy that the root rosette of leaves is absent. Stem leaves in shape can be either oblong-linear or oblong-ovate, the weight of these leaves are pointed. The inflorescences will be multi-flowered, they are endowed with somewhat spread-out pedicels. The lateral flowers of this plant will be on distinct pedicels, the length of which reaches ten millimeters. The tubular calyx is endowed with sharp teeth, which will be almost equal to the tube of the beautiful centaury. The length of the rim is twelve to thirteen millimeters, at the bend, the diameter will be six to eight millimeters, the rim is endowed with a narrow tube that will rise above the calyx and the white blades of the bend. The blades will be elliptical-oblong and obtuse in shape. The capsule of this plant is oblong and almost unilocular, its length is equal to nine to ten millimeters, the seeds of the beautiful centaury are very small and colored in dark brown tones.

The flowering of the beautiful centaury is in the period from May to October. Under natural conditions, the plant is found on the territory of the European part of Russia, as well as in Ukraine, Central Asia, Belarus and Western Siberia. For growth, the plant prefers the banks of reservoirs and streams, ditches, fine earthy areas among rocks, solonetzic marshy meadows, fixed sand and juniper forests. Sometimes the plant is found as a weed in crops from lowlands to the upper mountain belt. It is noteworthy that this plant is also very decorative.

Description of the medicinal properties of the beautiful centaury

The beautiful centaury is endowed with very valuable healing properties, the presence of which is explained by the content of alkaloids and saponins in the plant.

As for traditional medicine, infusion, thick extract and decoction based on this plant are widely used here. Such funds should be used in the same way as similar funds based on the umbrella centaury. It should be noted that it was proved that a decoction based on this plant gave positive results in the treatment of malaria, and may also exhibit protistocidal activity.

For cholecystitis, it is recommended to prepare the following remedy based on this plant: for the preparation of such a remedy, it is recommended to take twenty to thirty grams of beautiful centaury herb per liter of boiling water. The resulting mixture should be allowed to brew, and then it is thoroughly filtered. Such funds are taken in half a glass three times a day, thirty to forty minutes before the start of a meal.

With heartburn, you should use the following very effective remedy based on this plant: to prepare such a remedy, you should grind the herb of the centaury beautiful into powder. Such a remedy is taken one or two grams several times a day, after which it is washed down with half a glass of boiled water.
