On New Year's Eve, from 19 to 23 December, the country's largest XXV exhibition-fair of folk arts and crafts “LADYA. Winter's Tale-2018 ". Over 1600 organizations of handicrafts, creative associations, individually working craftsmen and artisans from 68 regions of the Russian Federation will take part in it
By tradition, the best products will be presented by world-famous centers of folk art: Khokhloma and Gorodets painting on wood, Gzhel and Kislovodsk porcelain, Veliky Ustyug niello silver, Rostov enamel, Vologda and Yelets lace, Bogorodskaya wood carving, Kubachin silver products, Kholmogorsk bone and Tobolsk bone, Zhostovo and Nizhny Tagil painting on metal, Skopinskaya and Pskov ceramics, Torzhok gold embroidery, weapons of Zlatoust and Moscow masters, Pavlovsk cutlery, artistic weaving, embroidery, Baltic amber, etc.
A Business Forum was organized at the exhibition - this is a platform for the development of business communication between participants and guests of the exhibition - dialogue, discussions, immersion in the problems of the industry development.
This year the Ladya Exhibition will be held in a new format and will be located in five halls.
The first hall will display products according to the industry principle: salons of porcelain and ceramics, lacquer painting, artistic wood and bone carving, painting on metal, artistic weaving and carpet weaving, artistic processing of metal and leather, crystal and glass, etc.
The Central Exhibition will include the works of the winners, presented in the Competition Program of the Exhibition, both in the new category - "My Horses, Horses" in the works of craftsmen, and in traditional nominations. Also, visitors will get acquainted with the exhibition of ceramics "Modern Pottery".
The City of Craftsmen will reveal the secrets of professional craftsmanship - handicraftsmen and craftsmen will demonstrate ancient techniques of making handicrafts.
In the second hall, more than 30 regions of the Russian Federation will present collective expositions that will acquaint visitors with the history, traditions of the region and products of folk crafts and artisans.
The third, fourth and fifth halls are platforms for free creativity of young masters, artists and designers. These are modern designer products, ethnic models, amazing things that create a mood and inspire discoveries. The gastronomic section will be interesting: from tea, honey to eco products. In the recreation area, visitors will be able to taste the cuisine of the peoples of Russia and be imbued with its peculiarities.
"Winter's Tale" awaits young visitors: an entertainment and educational platform with entertaining master classes on various types of crafts and crafts, an animation program "Magic Forest", thematic games and quests, as well as concerts and theatrical performances.
The entertainment program will be held for the first time on three stages. Both professional artists and creative teams from all over Russia will take part in it; fashion shows of Russian designers will take place.
"ROOK. Winter's Tale "is a world of amazing unique beauty of the traditional culture of the peoples of Russia, pleasing with the fruits of inspiration of talented and skillful craftsmen, talent, creative ideas are welcomed here, people who are in love with folk art and ethnic culture meet and communicate!
The exhibition will be attended by over 80 thousand Muscovites and guests of the capital.
The organizer of the event is the Association "Folk Arts and Crafts of Russia" with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.
