Then the seeds are laid out in two layers on a wet cloth, and the inside of the shred is kept moist and warm for three days. You can also go the simpler way - just immerse the seeds in water with a temperature of fifty degrees. Only after competently carried out preparation is it fashionable to start sowing zucchini seeds in open beds.
The optimal parameters of the ground temperature for seed germination are the boundaries from twelve to fifteen degrees. Therefore, it is believed that the best time to plant such a plant is the end of spring. Many vegetable growers do not plant zucchini all at once, but gradually, maintaining an interval of five or six days, which helps to extend the timing of the harvest.
Zucchini beds should be seventy centimeters wide. In this case, holes for sowing seeds are made every half a meter. So it turns out that three plant specimens will be located on one square meter of the site. Further, each hole is fertilized with one handful of humus and a spoonful of ash. All this is mixed with earth and poured with mineral fertilizer. One hole can accommodate two or three seeds, which are lowered to a depth of five centimeters, which depends on the lightness and airiness of the soil in the garden. As soon as shoots appear in one place, you need to choose the strongest one and leave it, and cut the rest at the root.
