For the most part, summer residents are cheerful and cheerful people. Where does this ability to rejoice and remain optimistic no matter what comes from?

First, it is the result of regular interaction with Nature. Observing the plants that pass their way from a grain to an adult fruiting plant, summer residents go through this growth with them. The ability to rejoice, wonder and observe is inherent in children. It is often difficult for adults to be able to stop in the hustle and bustle and look around with their eyes wide open, like in children. And a person who lives on earth, grows crops with his own hands, this ability remains. Such people have a clear, judicious look even in old age. They are less afflicted by various diseases that are among lovers of sofa rest. Fresh air, clean products grown for oneself - this also gives health, and therefore joy.

Garden work - weeding, mulching, watering, digging, harvesting - these are real meditative practices that relieve the brain and nervous system. Plus, it takes place in the fresh air - away from city traffic jams and an air-conditioned office microclimate. Monotonous painstaking work stops the flow of thoughts in the head, or, on the contrary, helps to plunge into thought. Alone with oneself, under the trills of birds and the rustle of leaves - non-standard solutions are born in the head, insoluble problems are unleashed. It can be very difficult to indulge in introspection in the urban rhythm, and at the dacha there are all the conditions for this.

The summer resident is in no hurry, unless he has a hectare of garden. For a good state of mind, 3-5 acres of land are enough, on which all the necessary vegetables, herbs and medicinal herbs are comfortably located. Large amounts of work are more likely to depress the psyche and destroy the body. For this reason, books with advice on how to spend a minimum of effort on the garden and get large yields are so popular with summer residents. Also, do not give yourself overwhelming tasks. Instead of digging a garden, hire a tractor with a cutter or do a surface dig with a flat cutter. Do not carry weights on yourself - all this has a detrimental effect on the joints and the spine. After all, there are garden carts. Do not overload your back, knees, chest, neck. Take breaks from work on time - at least once every half hour. Monotonous work gets tired faster - change tasks, load different muscle groups and do not forget to warm up - stretching before and after work. After a hot day at work, take a bath or rub your body with a honey and salt scrub, it will well cleanse the skin of salts and sweat.

Our psyche and physical body are inextricably linked. A healthy psyche is a healthy body, a hardy body is a strong psyche and the ability to withstand stress. Constant physical activity in the fresh air tempers. Muscles are in good shape, which is especially important for people over 40, because at this age health begins to fail, various chronic diseases appear. Until now, the grandmothers who run their household, up to 80 years old, keep their garden in order and collect bountiful harvests. But as soon as they stop, a heap of problems and sores appears.

Western scientists have even discovered some mysterious soil bacteria that, when ingested, produces serotonin, the hormone of joy. The same serotonin that causes euphoria after a slice of cake or brownie. It turns out that people who like to dig a lot in the ground are dependent on the vegetable garden and the bacteria that inhabit it. It sounds like a fantasy, but it sounds beautiful. Moreover, the bacterium is harmless, and joy has not bothered anyone yet.

Having a hobby - an exciting activity makes life brighter, a person sets priorities so that his favorite pastime is present in the daily schedule. Gardening also has positive goals - growing healthy plants, harvesting, harvesting and supplies for the winter. A retired person is often devoid of tangible goals - children have their families, careers behind. In order not to lose the taste for life, not to get depressed and worried about sores, goals are vital. And the decision to start gardening looks like a good way out. If you have bored, but still quite active retired parents, give them a dacha outside the city. And parents will be healthy, and you - with a clean, healthy, one might say, organic harvest.

A good sign that you are doing the right gardening and healing your psyche is the end of the day. Before going to bed, remember everything useful that you have done in the garden and in the beds. If your thoughts inspire joy, peace and pleasure from the results obtained, you are on the right track.

Happy and healing daching for you!
