Kulbaba bristly is one of the plants of the family called Asteraceae or Compositae, in Latin the name of this plant will sound as follows: Leontodon hispidus L. As for the name of the family of the bristly kulbaba itself, in Latin it will be as follows: Asteraceae Dumort.

Description of the bristly kulbaba

The bristly kulbaba is a perennial herbaceous flower stalks, the height of which will fluctuate between ten and sixty centimeters. The rhizome of this plant is short and, as it were, chopped off; it can be either horizontally or almost vertically downward. Such a rhizome will be endowed with numerous filiform roots, the arrow will be straight, the height is ten to sixty centimeters. The arrowhead is rough and sometimes pinkish underneath. The length of the basal leaves is about five to twenty centimeters, and the width is one to three centimeters. Such leaves of the bristly kulbaba will be oblong, and on the lower surface they will be endowed with numerous punctate pits. During flowering, the baskets are erect, and during flowering they will droop. The length of such baskets is equal to a centimeter or three centimeters, and the tongues will be painted in yellow tones. The achenes of the bristly culbaba are about four to six millimeters long, they will be fusiform and are colored in light brown tones.

The flowering of this plant occurs in the period from June to the month of August. Under natural conditions, the bristly kulbaba is found on the territory of Ukraine, the European Arctic, Moldova, the Caucasus, Belarus and the following regions of the European part of Russia: Volga-Kama, Zavolzhsky, Nizhnedonsky, Volzhsko-Donskoy, Ladoga-Ilmensky, Karelo-Mkurmansky, Baltic and Dvinsko-Pechora area.

Description of the medicinal properties of the bristly kulbaba

Bristly kulbaba is endowed with very valuable healing properties, while the herb of this plant should be used for medicinal purposes. The concept of grass includes stems, flowers and leaves of the bristly kulbaba.

The presence of such valuable medicinal properties should be explained by the content of rubber in the composition of this plant, while tocopherol will be present in the flowers of the bristly culbaba, and there is fatty oil in the seeds.

The infusion and decoction, prepared on the basis of the herb of this plant, is recommended for use in various diseases of the gallbladder. In the form of rinsing, such healing agents are used for toothache. It is noteworthy that the leaves of the bristly culbaba are quite acceptable to use for the preparation of salads.

For cholecystitis, it is recommended to use the following very effective remedy based on this plant: to prepare such a remedy based on bristly culbaba, it is recommended to take one tablespoon of crushed dry herb of this plant in one glass of water. The resulting mixture should be boiled over low heat for about three to four minutes, after which such a mixture based on bristly culbaba should be infused for two hours and filtered very thoroughly. Such a healing agent is taken three times a day, one third or one fourth of a glass.

For rinsing with toothache, you should use the following remedy based on bristly kulbaba: to prepare such a remedy, you will need to take three tablespoons of crushed herb of this plant in two cups of boiling water. The resulting healing mixture should be infused for about one to two hours, after which this mixture, based on bristly culbaba, is filtered very carefully.
