For example, plants such as Japanese maple, oriental thuja and holly will not tolerate particularly severe frosts. Many gardeners are used to calling ornamental cherries and plums sakuras, but such varieties can also freeze in especially cold winters, so they will need special care in winter.
When purchasing plants, you should avoid those species that grow in countries with very warm climatic conditions: Italy, Moldova, Ukraine and many others. But those plants that are grown in Poland and the Baltic States will be an excellent solution for most regions of Russia.
