The core of the touch-me-not is an annual, biennial, or perennial herb, the height of which will fluctuate between fifteen and eighty centimeters. The stem of this plant is bare, and its leaves, in turn, will be either sparsely ciliate or bare. The leafy rosettes of the touch-me-not core are two-four-paired, while the upper leaves are endowed with sessile lanceolate leaves. The flowers of this plant will be very small, often they are not even endowed with a corolla, and the length of the sepals turns out to be equal to one hundred and seventy-five millimeters. The length of the petals of the impatiens core is equal to two and a half millimeters, they are painted in white tones and are oblong-wedge-shaped.
Under natural conditions, this plant is found on the territory of Ukraine, Central Asia, the Caucasus, the European part of Russia, Belarus, Western and Eastern Siberia. For growth, the touch-me-not core prefers shady and humid forests, the banks of rivers and streams, clay and gravelly slopes up to the mid-mountain belt.
Description of the medicinal properties of the touch-me-not core
The core of touch-me-not is endowed with very valuable healing properties, while it is recommended to use the leaves, flowers, grass and seeds of this plant for medicinal purposes. The presence of such valuable medicinal properties should be explained by the presence in the aerial part of the core of the touch-sensitive flavonoids of glycosides quercetin and kaempferol, as well as traces of alkaloids. Ascorbic acid will be present in the leaves. The seeds of this plant contain fatty oil, which in turn contains the following acids: arachidic, linoleic, erucic, linolenic, oleic, palmitic, stearic, behenic, eicosadienic and dihydroxy acids.
The infusion, prepared on the basis of the touch-me-not core, is endowed with a very effective diuretic and stimulating effect.
In the Caucasus, with convulsions in children, it is recommended to use an infusion based on the flowers of this plant. As for traditional medicine, here the touch-me-not core has become quite widespread. A decoction prepared on the basis of the seeds of this plant can successfully replace mustard, and is also used as a diuretic. It is noteworthy that the leaves of the touch-sensitive core can be eaten, and they can also be used as very effective antiscorbutic agents.
For convulsions in children, it is recommended to use the following healing agent based on this plant: to prepare such a healing agent, you will need to take one teaspoon of touch-sensitive core flowers per one glass of boiling water. It is recommended to first leave the resulting medicinal mixture to infuse for about thirty to forty minutes, after which this mixture based on the touch-me-not core should be filtered very carefully. The resulting drug based on this plant is taken once or twice a day, regardless of the meal, one tablespoon.
The following remedy is used as a diuretic: for its preparation, take a teaspoon of touch-sensitive core seeds in a glass of water. The resulting medicinal mixture should first be boiled for five minutes, left to infuse for an hour, and then strain very thoroughly. Take such a remedy three times a day, one tablespoon.
