As for organic fertilizers, they should be applied at planting or in the fall. Young plants for the winter period of time will need additional shelter with the help of spruce branches or dry foliage, while adult specimens of lumbago do not need such shelter anymore. Reproduction lumbago

Reproduction of this plant occurs through seeds. Such seeds will ripen approximately one month after the end of the flowering period. It is noteworthy that some species should be planted directly in a permanent place. For example, Alpine lumbago should be attributed to such species: this circumstance is due to the fact that this plant does not tolerate transplants. The seeds need to be planted directly into the open ground after they have been harvested, and the depth should be about one centimeter. In addition, you can plant lumbago seeds also in April for seedlings. For such a cultivation of this plant, the seeds should be lightly pressed into the substrate, and also water such plantings with a spray bottle. When choosing such a plant for seedlings, the seeds should be germinated in a bright place, and the temperature should be about twenty-five degrees Celsius. At the same time, it is important to cover such landings with a film or glass. Those germs that do not shed the seed coat will need to be moistened with lukewarm water. A pick of this plant will be required only when about two or three true leaves appear. In a permanent place, such seedlings of lumbago should be planted around the month of May or throughout the entire summer period. The flowering of this plant will begin as early as the next year after the seeds are planted. However, some varieties of this plant will be able to bloom only six years after sowing.
