Description of marsh callestania
Marsh calestania is a perennial herb, the height of which can reach one hundred and twenty centimeters. The stem of this plant is ribbed, and in the upper part it will be branched. Together with the leaves, such a stem is naked, while inside it will be hollow, and at the base it is painted in dark purple tones. The height of such a stem of this plant will be about fifty to one hundred and twenty centimeters. The lower leaves of the marsh marsh are on long petioles, and at the very base they will be wide-triangular, while their length will be seven to forty centimeters, and their width will be equal to three to forty centimeters. The leaves of this plant can be either triple-pinned or double-pinned. At the end of the stem, the umbrella will be larger than on the branches; in diameter, the length will be about five to ten centimeters. The wrappers will consist of seven to twelve leaves, the umbrellas will be about two centimeters across, the teeth of the calyx are rather short, and the petals are painted in white tones. Such petals will be almost rounded, at the top they are notched, the length and width will be approximately one and a half centimeters. The fruits will be broadly elliptical in shape, their length is five millimeters, and their width is about three millimeters.
The flowering of the marsh marsh falls on the period from July to the month of August, while the seeds ripen in the month of August-September. Under natural conditions, this plant is found in Western Siberia, Belarus, the Carpathians and the Dnieper region of Ukraine, as well as in the Volga region and in the North-West of Russia. For growth, the plant prefers low-lying swamps, swampy forests and places along the banks of rivers.
Description of the medicinal properties of marsh callestania
Marsh calestania is endowed with very valuable healing properties, while it is recommended to use the herb of this plant for medicinal purposes. Grass includes the stems, flowers and leaves of this plant.
The presence of such valuable healing properties is explained by the content of essential oil in the roots of this plant, while the herb contains quercetin, rutin, kaempferol and quercetin glycosides. The fruits of marsh callestania contain an essential oil, which contains camphene, alpha-pinene, limonene, terpinolene, sabinene, alpha-thuyene and beta-pinene.
The plant is endowed with analgesic, anti-inflammatory, diuretic, fixing, antispasmodic and expectorant effects. In the form of an infusion or decoction, marsh marsh is used for epilepsy, whooping cough, angina pectoris, toothache, coughing and shortness of breath.
It should be noted that this plant can be used in cooking as a substitute for ginger.
The following remedy should be used as a fixing and diuretic: for the preparation of such a remedy, it is recommended to take two tablespoons with the top of the crushed dry herb of this plant in half a liter of water. The resulting mixture should be boiled for three to four minutes over low heat, and then the mixture is infused for two hours, after which it is thoroughly filtered. The resulting product is taken on the basis of marsh calale in two tablespoons.
In a similar way, the prepared remedy is taken one-third of a glass three times a day before meals for bronchitis, whooping cough, angina pectoris, epilepsy, toothache and asthma attacks.
