The mericarps of this plant are spherical, their length is three to four centimeters and they will be covered with hooked hairs.
The flowering of the fragrant bedstraw occurs in the spring and early summer. Under natural conditions, this plant is found in the Caucasus, Central Asia, Sakhalin, Kurils and Primorye in the Far East, Crimea, Ukraine, Belarus, Altai region of Western Siberia, Angara-Sayan region of Eastern Siberia, as well as in all regions of the European part of Russia, for the only exception is the Dvinsko-Pechora and Karelo-Murmansk regions.
For growth, the fragrant bedstraw prefers the banks of forest streams, springs, coniferous-deciduous and coniferous forests, moist and shady deciduous forests, humus-rich soil, ranging from lowlands to the mid-mountain belt.

For spasmophilia in children, it is recommended to use fresh fragrant bedstraw herb in the form of applications. The broth, prepared on the basis of the rhizomes of the sweet bedstraw, is recommended for use in case of enterocolitis, acute gastritis, in diseases of the liver and biliary tract, as well as as an astringent and anesthetic for diarrhea and as a means that will have the ability to increase potency.
It should be noted that the rhizomes and leaves of the sweet bedstraw will exhibit antibacterial activity. In addition, the herb infusion is used as a very valuable sedative for depression, neuroses, hysteria and neurasthenia, and locally, such a remedy is used for allergic rashes.
