Omaloteka forest is a perennial plant endowed with a rather short rhizome, as well as the remnants of last year's leaves, painted in black-brown tones. The height of the stems of this plant will fluctuate between twenty and eighty centimeters, for the most part such stems will be single, in color they can be either grayish-tomentose or whitish-tomentose. The leaves of the forest rejuvenator will be almost naked and linear. The baskets of this plant are either bell-shaped or cylindrical, their height is five to seven millimeters, and their width is about three to five millimeters. Such baskets are located in the leaf axils themselves and gather at the top in a more or less compact spike-shaped inflorescence, which will most often be loose. In total, there are about seventy flowers in the baskets of the forest missal, only a few of them will be bisexual. The seeds of this plant are oblong and brown in color.

The flowering of the forest omaloteka falls on the period from June to September. Under natural conditions, this plant is found on the territory of the European part of Russia, Belarus, Crimea, Ukraine, Moldova, Western and Eastern Siberia, and also as an invasive plant in all regions of the Far East, with the exception of only the Okhotsk region. For growth, this plant prefers edges, glades, forests, clearings, pebbles and places among shrubs up to the mid-mountain zone.

Description of the medicinal properties of forest omaloteka

Omaloteka forest is endowed with very valuable healing properties, while it is recommended to use the herb of this plant for medicinal purposes. Grass includes flowers, stems and leaves. The presence of such valuable healing properties should be explained by the content in the composition of this plant of pigment, rubber, polyacetylene compounds, as well as the following flavonoids: quercimeritrin, luteolin, tricin, apigenin, quercetin and isoquercetin.

A decoction and infusion prepared on the basis of the herb of this plant is recommended for use in case of paralysis, epilepsy, atherosclerosis, angina pectoris, cholecystitis, neuroses, anemia, asthenia, hypertension, cachexia, cystitis, enterocolitis, diarrhea, gastric hyposecretion, liver diseases and female diseases … In addition, such healing agents are also used as astringent, tonic and enveloping agents. Outwardly, the use of such funds is possible with furunculosis, burns, diathesis, dermatomycosis and dermatitis. A decoction and infusion of forest omaloteka herb is used for rinsing with angina and laryngitis.

The herb powder of this plant is used for dermatomycosis and as a wound healing agent, and fresh leaves of the forest rejuvenator are used as a wound healing agent. It should be noted that this plant is also used in veterinary medicine as a wound healing agent and is used for dermatomycosis.
