Forget-me-not forest is one of the plants of the family called borage, in Latin the name of this plant will sound like this: Myosotis silvatica Ehrh. ex Hoffin. As for the name of the forest forget-me-not family itself, in Latin it will be like this: Boraginaceae Juss.

Description of forest forget-me-not

Forget-me-not is a herbaceous two- or three-year-old plant, endowed with loose stems, which will be quite densely fluffy-shaggy. The rhizome of the forest forget-me-not is rather thin, its fruitless shoots will be short and almost rosettes. Leaves can be both lanceolate-spatulate and oblong-spatulate, such leaves of this plant will taper into a rather long petiole. Fertile sour forest forget-me-nots will be loose and few-flowered, the stalks are almost horizontally spaced, and their length will be about one centimeter. Forest forget-me-not flowers are painted in blue tones, the length of the corolla bend will be about five to six millimeters, the height of the nuts will be about two millimeters. Such flowers of this plant are pointed and oblong.

The forest forget-me-not bloom occurs in the period from May to June. in natural conditions, this plant is found in the Caucasus, the European part of Russia, as well as in the Carpathians and in the Dnieper region of Ukraine. For the growth of forget-me-not forest prefers damp meadows, forests, thickets of shrubs from low-lying to mountainous zones.

Description of the medicinal properties of the forest forget-me-not

Forget-me-not forest is endowed with rather effective healing properties, while for medicinal purposes it is recommended to use the herb and roots of this plant. Grass includes leaves, stems and flowers.

The presence of such valuable medicinal properties should be explained by the content of flavonoids in the composition of the aerial part of this plant, while fatty oil will be present in the seeds. It should be noted that the roots of the forget-me-not of the forest typical variety, which are used to treat conjunctivitis, are quite widespread. A decoction prepared on the basis of the herb of this plant is recommended for use in case of fever and night blindness.

As for Tibetan medicine, here this plant is quite widespread. Here, an infusion prepared on the basis of forest forget-me-not flowers is recommended for use in various gynecological diseases.

In case of inflammation of the uterine appendages, it is recommended to use the following remedy based on this plant: to prepare such a remedy, you will need to take one tablespoon of forest forget-me-not herb per three hundred milliliters. The resulting healing mixture should be boiled for about three to four minutes over a fairly low heat, then this mixture is left to infuse for about two hours, after which this medicinal mixture based on this plant should be very thoroughly filtered. Take the resulting healing agent based on forest forget-me-not three times a day, one or two tablespoons.

In case of infertility, it is recommended to use the following remedy based on this plant: to prepare such a healing remedy, you will need to take one teaspoon of forest forget-me-not flowers in a glass of boiling water. This mixture is insisted for about thirty minutes, then filtered. Take the resulting healing agent based on forest forget-me-not three times a day, one or two tablespoons. It should be noted that this remedy based on forest forget-me-not is endowed with a high degree of effectiveness, provided it is used correctly.
