When the flowering conditions are especially favorable, the bloom will last throughout the summer season until the very autumn frosts. The beginning of flowering depends entirely on the choice of the type of plant: some species bloom in the spring, while others - at the end of summer. This plant is an excellent honey plant, for this reason this plant is often visited by bees.
Description of the features of the care and cultivation of the flower
It should be noted that, unlike all other perennial plants, the flower will require increased attention. For the favorable development of this plant, it is necessary to select slightly shaded areas, which at the same time will be reliably protected from the wind. However, some varieties of this plant need a sunny color: this is due to the fact that in case of insufficient light, this plant may not bloom. Lyadvenets prefers loose and well-drained soils, which can be either light sandy or sandy loam.
Watering the plant will need moderate, but it should be regular. As for especially hot days, the watering of the flower needs to be increased. This plant does not tolerate even the slightest stagnation of moisture, for this reason, the plant will not need abundant and frequent watering.
As for dressings, they should be performed throughout the entire growing season. For top dressing, it is recommended to use organic fertilizers, for example, compost can act in this role. Such fertilizers must be applied when planting a flower or in the spring. As for complex mineral fertilizers, they should be applied from May to September. The frequency of such dressings should be approximately once or twice a month.
It is important to remember that this plant is not highly resistant to winter cold snaps. Most often, it is recommended to transplant the lily into containers in the autumn period of time before the start of frost. Such containers must be moved to a room where the temperature regime will be approximately five to fourteen degrees Celsius. Throughout the winter period, it is important to keep the plant in a cool and bright place. In winter, very rare watering is important for the plant, but the soil should not completely dry out. In the spring, as soon as the warmth comes, the plant will need to be transferred again to open ground or simply taken out into the street in a container.
If the plant is grown in containers, it is important to ensure good drainage. This plant should be repotted every two to three years. As for adult specimens of this plant, then they can no longer be transplanted: it will be quite acceptable to simply replace the top layer of the soil.
Reproduction of this plant occurs both by means of seeds and by means of cuttings. Seeds should be sown in the month of April, while the substrate should be slightly moistened, and it must first be sterilized. When germinating seeds, the air temperature should be about twenty-five degrees.
