Hibiscus came to our homes from South China. And caring for this luxurious bush is a real Chinese ceremony. A small sprout turns into a spreading bush and is able to rest its top against the ceilings of our low apartments. No joke, because in height it can grow up to 3 meters. And since the leaves of the rose tree are shiny, so that they please the eye with their glossy surface, dust should not be allowed to collect on them.

The location for this giant also needs to be chosen according to its needs. We must not forget that Chinese rose is a very light-loving plant, so if you set aside a place for it in a dark far corner of the room, it is highly likely that it may not bloom. It is a big omission to deprive oneself of this aesthetic pleasure, since his flowers are large, the colors are different - burgundy, red, pink, purple, orange. And they dissolve not at the same time, but in turn. Therefore, the bush retains its decorative and flowering appearance for a very long time.

Features of care in summer and winter days

In the summer months, the hibiscus pot can be left on the balcony or outdoors in the garden. However, balconies and loggias, which on hot days more resemble greenhouses with their microclimate, are not suitable for a rose tree. He likes a place that will not be overheated by the sun. In addition, on warm sunny days, it will be useful to spray the bush with cold water. Moreover, in the open air, you need to ensure that parasites do not settle in the pot.

In winter, hibiscus is brought indoors, but they try to provide it with cool conditions. You need to keep the pot in a well-lit place. Watering these days is reduced.

Typically, hibiscus blooms from May to autumn. But you can achieve an earlier flowering, as well as extend it until the winter months. To delay the blooming of the buds until autumn, pruning and transplanting is carried out in early May. Before that, the flower needs to create conditions for a state of rest. Hibiscus is propagated by seed and vegetative methods. At home, it is easier to choose the second one. To do this, from mid-summer to August, you can engage in cutting cuttings. The tops of a young growth, semi-lignified shoots with a couple of internodes are best suited for these purposes. They are rooted in pots under glass jars for 3-4 weeks. When the planting material acquires its own root system, it is planted in 9-centimeter pots and moistened with warm water.

So that the plant does not stretch, but forms a beautiful dense bush, the shoots must be pinched. The next transplant is carried out in the spring. Immediately after this procedure, a third of the height is re-pruned.

If it is not possible to purchase a suitable soil for a rose tree, you can prepare it yourself according to this recipe:

• sod land - 4 parts;

• deciduous - 3 parts;

• humus - 1 part;

• sand - 1 part.

As a top dressing, bird droppings diluted with water are used (1 part of raw material for 20 parts of liquid). Fertilizer is not used fresh, it needs to be fermented. With this mode, a new flowering plant can be obtained in a year. During growth and flowering, in addition to dressing, it is necessary to water the hibiscus abundantly.
