In early spring, when the snow melts, the onion - anzur shows its first leaves. Onion flowering ends before the onset of the summer heat. Depending on the type of onion, the leaves can be large, wide, long, elliptical. Anzur is very beautiful during the flowering period, which occurs in late May - early June. The height of the peduncles of such a bow can reach 150 cm, the diameter of the purple spherical inflorescences is up to 12 cm.

Karatavsky bow widely used as an ornamental plant. This bow got its name from the Karatau ridge in the south of Kazakhstan. The karatavsky variety is squat, with a stocky stem, attracts with its wide, flat leaves and an openwork pink ball of inflorescence. Green leaves grow back immediately after the snow melts, blooms in June. It is widely used in traditional medicine recipes.
