Wrong mulch
No less responsible and difficult, as it might seem at first glance, is the question of choosing a mulch for your landscape. Wrong selection or overkill can seriously harm plants, preventing them from developing normally. The type of mulch for one crop may not work for another.
Smaller types of mulch (needles, husks, crushed tree bark) are best used for large plantations, since small particles will be raised by the wind and confused in the leaves and stems of low crops. It is better to refuse mulch from tiny pebbles altogether, or to use it for a short time, because over time the stones spread throughout the garden and penetrate into the soil, spoiling its composition.
Get carried away with aesthetics, forgetting about practicality
In pursuit of beautiful garden compositions, we sometimes do not take into account the peculiarities of the neighborhood of some plants. After all, not all of them fit together for different reasons. We often forget the practicality of choosing a place for culture. Before planting ornamental plants, it is useful to ask the following questions: What time of day do they bloom? What is their maximum height? Will they be visible from the best vantage point in the garden (for example, from a veranda or window)? etc.
Late pruning

Too much lawn
The green, neatly trimmed grass in the garden is just a sight for sore eyes! But lawns are not easy to maintain. Starting it for the first time, you should not be too zealous and sow it immediately over a large area. Then be prepared for the fact that you will have to groom and cherish him twice as much. It is also important to place the grass in convenient, open areas so that other, neighboring plants are not damaged when cutting.
Forget about the winter landscape
When placing plants on the site, it is important to consider how they will behave in winter. For example, if in summer some shrubs planted along the road look very beautiful, then in winter they can obstruct with their branches to clear snow. Planting crumbling trees
Some woody plants have a not very pleasant property - they litter the area around them with their leaves, fruits, etc. It is undesirable to plant such trees near the house, so as not to suffer sweat, regularly removing eco-waste. Of course, only artificial trees do not drop anything at all, but for the plot closest to the house, less "weedy" crops (pyramidal poplar, dwarf birch, alder) should be preferred.
