Of the shortcomings, gardeners note the partial freezing of fruit buds during dry, harsh winters in the Middle Lane. If ordinary bushes, if necessary, can be bent to the ground, covered with snow, then it is difficult to carry out such a procedure with "trees". In the south, there are no problems with wintering.

Thanks to the intensive work of breeders, the number of popular varieties and hybrids is increasing every year.
Russian firms offer the most productive planting material:
• Story. Thornless erect shoots reach 1.5-2 meters in height. Productivity at the level of 5 kg per plant. Dense, reddish, large berries weighing 15-18 g with a sweet taste, pleasant raspberry aroma, ripen from mid-summer to the second decade of August. Well transported without damage.
• Tarusa. Thick erect shoots with a height of 1, 5-2 m are strewn with elongated ruby large berries weighing up to 16 g. Juicy sweet melting pulp with small few seeds makes them suitable for homemade preparations, desserts on the festive table. Medium late ripening. No pruning required. Frost resistant. In blooming, the bush is a stunning sight.
• Eurasia. A standard variety with a height of 1, 3-1, 6 m. Decorated with beautiful openwork leaves, a lot of scarlet berries weighing about 7 g. Gives high yields, regardless of climatic conditions and soil quality. Resistant to major pests. Can be used in decorative garden decoration. Differs in renovation. The fruits ripen before frost.
• Strong guy. The modern variety was obtained in 2000. With a growth of 1, 8 m, the plant does not need support. Medium early ripening. Raspberry berries, medium size, elongated conical shape, dense consistency. Yields up to 4 kg per bush, sweet taste with a slight sourness. Transportability is excellent. The powerful root system takes root quickly after transplantation. Withstands frosts down to -30 degrees. Resistant to pests, diseases.
• Galaxy. A novelty with a medium ripening period. In warm autumn, berries of the second wave appear on separate branches. Shoots without thorns, smooth. Harvest up to 5 kg of juicy burgundy-red, dense, large berries (10-12 g) with a beautiful elongated sheen. Differs in strong aroma, sweet taste. A universal variety for any region of our country. The height of the shoots is 1.5 m. It is rarely affected by harmful creatures.
