With the onset of autumn, many gardeners have light portable pergolas on which annual vines were adorned in the summer season. These props can also help keep snow in place. It is enough to install them in the required place, and seal their lower part with mesh or film. A plastic mesh, which is often used to protect highways, will also help prevent snow from leaving the site. In the garden, they are placed in an arched or straight line, which actually helps to prevent snow from blowing out.

A day is chosen for work when the snow is the most sticky and wet, so it will not crumble, better forming into rollers. A snow blower will help to cover the lawn with snow, but for this the snow must be fluffy and light. If there is no such special equipment in the garden, then all these procedures can be done with a shovel. Moreover, in this case, there will be a great opportunity to warm up in the fresh winter air.
