Three-part succession (lat. Bidens tripartita) - a herbaceous annual, representing on Earth the genus Chereda (Latin Bidens) from the numerous Asteraceae family (Latin Asteraceae). The tripartite succession is a versatile plant, but its healing abilities, which were especially in demand until the beginning of the 20th century, are more popular among the people.
What's in your name
The first word of the Latin name of the plant, "Bidens", literally translates as "two teeth", which is associated with achene fruits, armed with two sharp spines, which serve to scatter seeds around the world. Clinging to the fur of animals, feathers of birds, human clothing, the seeds leave their "home" in order to, once in the soil in a new place, prolong the presence of this plant species on the planet.
The second word of the name reflects a specific feature of this particular plant species of the genus Chereda, namely, the shape of its leaves. Although the leaves of the Three-part series are whole, nature decided to somehow distinguish them from the leaves of other species and made them three-lobed. Hence the adjective "tripartita" (tripartite) in the name of the species came from.
As often happens, people far from science give plants local names in which they try to highlight the characteristic features of a given species. The wider the plant is scattered over the earth's surface, the more names it acquires.
So the Three-part Sequence, which chooses humid places for its place of residence, located closer to various bodies of water, is a frequent visitor of Russian open spaces. You will meet her on the banks of the rivers of the European part of our country; in the swamps of Western Siberia; by the ponds and lakes of Eastern Siberia; along the banks of the Far Eastern rivers … and therefore the plant has a long list of names.
Its ability to treat skin diseases is reflected in the name Scrofulous Herb. Tenacious two-toothed seeds gave birth to such names as "Dog Repechs", "Trailers", "Bident" and "Goat Horns" …
Description
In order to have time to go through all stages of development and leave seeds - the key to continuing life in 6-7 months, allotted by our climate to annual plants for the full vegetation cycle, plants need an effective root system. In the tripartite series, it is represented by a taproot, reinforced by thin but numerous lateral roots.
The root shows on the surface of the earth an erect single stem 15 to 100 cm high, branching in its upper part. Opposite dark green leaves extend from the stem on short petioles. They are whole, but to distinguish them from other species of the genus, they consist of three (less often up to five) lobes. The edge of the leaf is roughly serrated.
The inflorescence basket, typical for plants of the Aster family, is usually devoid of marginal flowers, popularly called petals, and has only brownish-yellow tubular flowers, male and female.
The fruit of the Tripartite series is a smooth achene, armed with prickly awns, which can be from two to four (less often).
Multidisciplinary ability Tripartite streak
* The inflorescences and leaves of the Tripartite series are a source for obtaining dyes for woolen and silk fabrics when it is required to dye them brown, cream or yellow.
* For people involved in raising pigs, young shoots of the string will be a good help for diversifying the diet of their pets.
* Blooming until autumn provides nourishment for the bees.

The herb has healing abilities only of the Three-part series, which is harvested at the time of plant budding. Therefore, it is important to know the external differences of this species from other species of the genus Chereda, so that instead of benefiting from the harvested raw materials, additional health problems are not obtained. Also important is the correct
dosage application of the Three-part series, so that the result of treatment does not turn into negative.

Three-leaf Watch

Succession
Sequence (lat.Bidens) - a genus of flowering herbaceous plants, included by botanists in the Asteraceae family (lat. Asteraceae). According to their external data, plants of the genus Chereda are similar to plants of the genus Coreopsis (Latin Coreopsis) of the same family.
Leafy Succession
A series of foliage (Latin Bidens frondosa) - herbaceous annual plant of the genus Chereda (lat. Bidens). It differs from other species of the genus by the rarest phenomenon of marginal sterile flowers, the appearance of the bracts and fruits with a particularly formidable appearance, giving rise to many popular names in which the devil is mentioned.
Henderson's Succession
Henderson's succession (lat.Bidens hendersonensis) - one of the plant species of the genus Chereda (lat. Bidens), which differs from most of its relatives, herbaceous plants, woody stem. Shrubs and low trees with thin trunks have chosen the only place on the planet for their life - two small islands, Henderson and Oeno, lost in the vastness of the Great Pacific Ocean.
Poplar Succession
A succession of poplar (Latin Bidens populifolia) - a rare herbaceous (sometimes semi-shrub) plant of the genus Chereda (lat. Bidens), which has chosen for its residence one of the 24 islands of the Hawaiian archipelago with the name "
