Description of Moorish mallow

Moorish mallow is an annual or biennial herb, the height of which will be about two hundred and fifty centimeters. The stems of this plant are straight and solitary, and the leaves will be endowed with five blunt lobes. The petals of Moorish mallow flowers are about three to four times longer than the calyx, they can be painted in both light purple tones and purple tones, while such flower petals will darken when dried.

Description of the medicinal properties of the Moorish mallow

Moorish mallow is endowed with very valuable medicinal properties, while for medicinal purposes it is recommended to use the roots and grass of this plant. Grass includes flowers, stems and leaves. The presence of such valuable healing properties is recommended to be explained by the content of mucus in all parts of this plant.

As for traditional medicine, here this plant is quite widespread. The broth, prepared on the basis of the roots of mallow moorish, is recommended for use in bronchitis, and also used as a substitute for marshmallow. An infusion prepared on the basis of the leaves and flowers of this plant is indicated for use in various inflammatory processes in the stomach and intestines, for colds, diarrhea, inflammatory processes in the respiratory tract, especially dry cough. For gargles and poultices for a variety of throat ailments, it is recommended to use Moorish mallow leaves as a very effective emollient.

It is noteworthy that the leaves of this plant can be eaten both fresh and boiled as a salad. Moorish mallow flowers are used for dyeing fabrics and wines.

With a dry cough, the following healing agent based on this plant is considered to be very effective: to prepare such a drug, you will need to take one tablespoon of flowers or Moorish mallow leaves for about one glass of boiling water. First, such a healing mixture should be left to infuse for about two hours, after which such a mixture should be very thoroughly filtered. Such a drug is taken on the basis of Mauritanian mallow three to four times a day, one or two tablespoons, while the mixture should be sweetened to taste.

For bronchitis, it is recommended to use the following effective remedy based on Mauritanian mallow: to prepare such a healing remedy, you will need to take four teaspoons of the crushed roots of this plant in two glasses of boiled water at room temperature. This mixture should first be left to infuse for about eight hours, after which it is recommended to strain this mixture very thoroughly. Take the resulting healing agent based on Mauritanian mallow three to four times a day, one third of a glass.

In case of inflammatory processes for rinsing, poultices, enemas and compresses, it is recommended to use the following effective remedy based on this plant: two tablespoons of horses, leaves or flowers for two and a half glasses of water are boiled for a couple of minutes, insisted for two hours and thoroughly filtered.
