Now in stores there are many different children's gadgets for giving: swings, slides, sandboxes, tables for playing with water, and so on. But it is not always possible to buy all this. Someone is stopped by the financial side of the issue, someone is a banal lack of space in the garden. And someone bought all this, but often children, after the first days of active use of garden "gadgets" cool down to them and still follow the adults, complaining that they have nothing to do.

What to do? Buying new fun? And what to do with the old? And won't the new get bored as quickly as the existing one? Get bored. And even faster. Children most often play with pleasure on outdoor devices such as mini-playgrounds in a company with other children, but they are not interested in them alone. So there are two ways out: either to invite all the kids from the neighborhood to visit (well, or at least a couple of neighboring kids), or to look for other activities for the children.

Activities for children depend on their age. Of course, babies from one to three to five years old need constant supervision and supervision of adults, they constantly strive to "help" daddy-mommies, grandparents. Do not scold the child for this and try to distract.

Buy a small sand set with a small spatula, rake, watering can and bucket, and your little one will be a great helper. If you water, give your child his watering can and let him water with you. This process will take the kid for a long time, for him it is tantamount to playing with water (and what little child does not like to fiddle with in the water?). If you are going to loosen the beds, give your child a rake (plastic) and he will also be happy to help you. Are you planning to harvest? Give the child a bucket in the handles and let him collect with you. If you plan to pick cherries, apricots, currants, and so on, then tie a ribbon to the bucket and hang it around the child's neck (in this case, make sure that the child does not get entangled in the ribbon!). By the way, I recommend those branches from which the baby will harvest, pour water from a watering can in advance (in advance, so that the soil or grass under them has time to dry out), since most likely part of the harvest will go not to the bucket, but to the child's mouth.

Yes, maybe in the process of "work", the child will inadvertently damage something (after all, the baby's movements are imperfect, he still does not control his movements very well), but the child will also be busy, and you will be able to do your business. Involve the child in work, do not be afraid, the child is interested in it. Together with the child, you can do such simple but painstaking work as cutting off the tendrils of strawberries, tying tomatoes (the child can "hold" a garter stick, or hold a skein of rope), fold the compost pit. Yes, working with a child will not work out quickly, but how much pleasure and joy you and the baby will get! In addition, in such a situation, the child will definitely not run away and climb anywhere.

Older children (from three to four years old) can be allocated a small bed, for example, with growing greens such as dill-parsley, so that the child can take care of it on his own: water, loosen the soil, weed out. This is within the power of the child, moreover, he will feel like an assistant, especially in those cases when the greens from his garden will fall into a salad or soup. In this case, a child in any garden store can buy about the following set (only the hoe should not have these sharp "antennae", they can easily hurt the child):

Just please, do not constantly take away the tools from the child with the words: you are doing wrong, let me show you! Firstly, this is his garden, let the child be independent! Secondly, the child will quickly lose interest in the garden: they still do not allow anything to be done! And just watching the kid is boring. Besides, who knows, maybe this very first bed in a child's life will help him become a famous agronomist in the future.

To be continued.
