In order to resist the inflammatory process spreading through the body called "rheumatism", we will try to find plants behind the outskirts or in our summer cottage that will help us cope with the disease
Rheumatism flows through the body
Most often, we associate rheumatism with old age, with tired working of the musculoskeletal system. This is not entirely true. Rheumatism often overtakes children aged 7 to 15 years and is associated with inflammation of the connective tissue of the body.
However, the medical term "rheumatism" has many faces. There are five syndromes of its manifestation. One of the manifestations of rheumatism is an inflammatory lesion of the joints (feet, ankles, knees, hands, elbows, shoulders). Patients complain of aches, pulling pain in the arms and legs. The plants that we will talk about help to alleviate just such a state of the body.
Gentian yellow
The popularity of the rhizome and roots of gentian yellow as a medicine has done the plant a disservice since ancient times. Today, the plant is under the protection of laws, since it has been almost exterminated by man. He was not even helped by the fact that the yellow gentian grows in the mountains, hiding from the barbarians in the thickets of bushes or high-mountain spruce woodlands.
Some specimens of the plant that have managed to escape human eyes and hands are several hundred years old. Such an amazing vitality and durability is inherent in a herbaceous perennial plant with a yellow-brown short but thick rhizome. Small lateral roots extend from the multi-headed rhizome. It is for the rhizome and roots that people hunt, wanting to cure themselves and others from many obsessive ailments.
In addition to the rhizome and roots, the yellow gentian has oval-elliptical beautiful and large leaves, in the axils of which yellow large flowers have gathered on one and a half meter flower-bearing stems. Therefore, today the yellow gentian is actively cultivated in gardens, admiring its power and decorativeness.
Medicines from gentian yellow have a simply magical effect on the human digestive system, starting their healing effect from the first moment they enter the mouth, in contact with its mucous membrane.
For the treatment of rheumatism, gout, arthritis, a decoction of gentian roots is used. To prepare it, take 700 ml of water, 3 teaspoons of finely chopped dry roots and simmer for a quarter of an hour. Half an hour before a meal (that is, 3-4 times a day), drink half a glass of strained broth.
Side effects:
Yellow gentian should not be consumed by people with a sensitive stomach, suffering from high acidity.
Perennial daisy
A perennial daisy growing independently in the wild, or one that has moved to cultivated gardens and vegetable gardens as a weed and has taken root in them, is widely used by traditional healers in the fight against human ailments.
Its versatile abilities help to stimulate the metabolism in the body, thereby balancing the work of all organs, helping them to work together for the benefit of human health. Preparations from perennial daisy make the inflammatory processes caused by microbes and viruses in the urinary and gall bladders, as well as bile ducts, calm down. The herb infusion of the plant is used for rubbing, lotions, compresses in the treatment of bruises, boils, as well as for gout and rheumatism.
The infusion is prepared from dried leaves or flower baskets. To do this, 4 teaspoons of raw materials are infused for 3-4 hours in 600 ml of boiled cold water.
Side effects:
Perennial daisy has not been seen in side effects to date.
