It is very interesting to observe the cardinal changes of the land plot for the better from the outside. As a modest courtyard in an ordinary village, over time, it turns into a beautiful resting place, equipped with the owners' own hands. I never cease to be amazed at the natural talents, seemingly far from the profession of a landscape designer, of people

Seven years ago, my parents gave a house in the village to my sister. The place is very beautiful. 50 meters from the site is a gorgeous pond with a bench on the shore. Here you can sit for hours, admiring the water surface, make small “trips” by boat, and fish. Nearby there is a forest rich in mushrooms, berries, nuts. Peace and quiet all around. A place where the harmony of nature with man is fully manifested.

Between the old house (over 100 years old) and the modern garage, there is a courtyard covered with a "carpet" of bird knotweed (knotweed), cereal grasses. It is separated from the garden by a barn for animals, fenced with a net for walking chickens. There is a hill of broken bricks in the corner. Here is everything that was originally provided to the "new settlers".

It is not for nothing that the Russian proverb says: "Our hands are not for boredom." This family also has a love for beauty, which gave rise to the desire to turn an ordinary courtyard into a "paradise" and a place of relaxation. To sit in the evening after a busy day in the shade of a canopy, drink tea from a real old samovar on coals and have leisurely conversations.

In the first year, small flower beds with a modest assortment of classic flowers were laid out here: dahlias "Merry Boys", zinnias, marigolds, in flowerpots - nasturtium, petunia.

Throughout the winter, they studied special literature, studied the Internet, looked for acceptable options for improving the site. The next summer the whole family got down to work. In order not to knead the dirt in rainy weather (clay soil), all buildings were united by a network of concrete paths. Excess soil was used to equip the alpine slide. Since the site is located a little in a lowland with a slight slope, we decided to put the gazebo a little higher than the ground level. The slopes were reinforced with wild stones. Where there was not enough material, an artificial replacement was created from cement, indistinguishable from real boulders. Maintained the general style of design.

All flower beds around the perimeter are lined with stones of different sizes and configurations collected from the river bank. A small pond appeared near the garage. The caring owner independently welded supports for curly flowers (clematis, climbing roses), a gazebo frame. A well-chosen green honeycomb polycarbonate gives excellent coolness on a hot day and harmoniously fits into the general background of the plantings.

Composition, selection of plants is the work of my sister. The variety of colors is striking in its originality: ground cover bushes go well with tall vines. Bright colors of maroon stonecrop inflorescences are complemented by pink clematis and park roses.

At the very beginning of May, double daffodils, fancy tulips, bloom. They are replaced by several bushes of varietal peonies: white, pink, carmine shades. Then the baton is taken by bush and climbing roses, daylilies, clematis, marigolds, viols (pansies), lobelia.

Maroon Ayuga leaves create a wonderful background, decorative all summer long. The hanging tendrils of this plant strive to "run away" to the paths in order to fill all the empty space with their rosettes.

The white-brown background of natural stone goes well with dark leaves and bright crimson inflorescences of ground covers on an alpine hill.

Along the house to the very entrance there is a rabatka, planted with noble lilies with huge gramophones, Turkish carnations of variegated colors, daisies with red "pompos", undersized bushes of marigolds.

From all sides the gazebo is entwined with climbing roses, varietal clematis. The aroma of flowers is indescribable. I just want to stay here longer, enjoy this beauty.

Thanks to the clean country air, it is easy to breathe. Singing birds in the morning, improves mood, makes you forget all the hardships. The murmur of a small fountain in the middle of the pond calms and sets you in a positive mood. So I don't want to leave this blessed place! Thanks to the owners for the hospitality and "paradise" among working days!
