The eastern goatbeard is a biennial herb, the height of which will fluctuate between fifteen and eighty centimeters. The leaves of this plant are light, linear and sharp; such leaves will be painted in bluish-green tones. The baskets of this plant are large, and the flowers are painted in bright golden yellow tones. It is noteworthy that the peduncles under the baskets are not thickened. The length of the leaves of the wrapper will be about eight to ten millimeters, while they will be much shorter than the bright yellow flowers.

The flowering of the eastern goatbeard falls on the period from May to August. Under natural conditions, this plant is found on the territory of the European part of Russia, in the Far East, in Ukraine, in Belarus, Central Asia, Moldova, in Western and Eastern Siberia. For growth, this plant prefers edges, dry slopes, meadows, forest glades, forests and fallow lands.

Description of the medicinal properties of the eastern goat

The eastern goatbeard is endowed with very valuable healing properties, while it is recommended to use the roots of this plant for medicinal purposes. The presence of such valuable healing properties should be explained by the content of tannins, rubber and fatty oils in the plant. At the same time, the flowers contain glucose, nectar, sucrose and fructose, while the seeds will contain fatty oil.

As for traditional medicine, here a broth prepared on the basis of the roots of this plant has been widely used. A decoction of the roots of the eastern goat is used for leucorrhoea, hysteria, gonorrhea and rheumatism. The roots and young shoots of this plant are edible when boiled, while the fresh roots and shoots can be used as a salad. It is noteworthy that the leaves of the eastern goatbeard will be quite suitable for feeding silkworms.

In case of stress, it is recommended to use the following remedy based on the eastern goatberry: to prepare such a remedy, you will need to take one tablespoon of the crushed dry roots of this plant in one glass of water. The resulting mixture should be brought to a boil, and then boiled over a fairly low heat for ten minutes, then such a mixture should be cooled, after which such a mixture based on the eastern goat is very carefully filtered. Take the resulting healing agent three times a day with stress, two tablespoons. It should be noted that in order to achieve the greatest efficiency when using such a remedy based on the eastern goat beetle, it is important to strictly follow not only all the norms for the preparation of such a remedy, but also carefully observe all the rules for its reception.

In folk medicine, the eastern goat is used as a diuretic and choleretic agent, as well as an antiseptic and a means of accelerating wound healing. A decoction from the roots of the eastern goat is used to remove stones from the liver and kidneys, to treat scrofula and cough, skin irritation and various skin diseases. Fresh crushed leaves of eastern goat are applied to ulcers, edema and purulent wounds.
