The healing power of plants can be used with benefit not only for the health of a person, but also as a means for combating diseases and parasites in the beds. What "medicinal" decoctions should a gardener and gardener be able to cook in order to scare away uninvited guests from their site?

What the moth will not do well

The apple moth will not like such a "treat" as broths of elderberry and tomato. Elderberries are harvested in summer. To do this, cut off the branches of the bush. At least five branches are taken for a 10-liter bucket of water. They are crushed, and then put on the stove, brought to a boil and left over low heat for about an hour and a half.

To enhance the effect of elderberry, it is additionally advised to prepare a decoction of tomato tops. For this, approximately 400 g of plant waste is collected in a 10-liter bucket of water. This mixture is first allowed to brew for at least 3 hours. After that, the agent is brought to a boil, and then left over low heat for about half an hour. Both broths - from elderberry and tomato tops - are mixed.

Vegetables are not helpless against insect parasites

Not only tomatoes, but also other vegetables can serve as a means of fighting parasites. For this, hot peppers, onions, and garlic are also suitable.

Hot peppers do not like the cabbage scoop; leafworms and aphids do not like it. To prepare the broth, take 100 g of the fruit. They need to be finely chopped and filled with 1 liter of water. The broth is prepared in an enamel bowl under a lid. Boil it for at least 1 hour. Be careful though, as the fumes during cooking can sting your eyes and cause breathing difficulties. Those who suffer from allergic reactions need to be especially careful. The broth is allowed to brew for a couple of days. After that, the pods need to be ground and squeezed into a decoction, and then strain it. This is a very strong concentrate, it cannot be used in its pure form. For spraying plants per 100 liters of the product, take 10 liters of clean water. And the remainder is stored in a place protected from direct sunlight and in tightly closed bottles.

Garlic helps to drive away aphids and ticks, and is also used to fight gray mold. To do this, prepare an infusion of 200 g of minced cloves and 10 liters of water. The remedy is insisted for a week.

If you add 200 g of onion husks and tobacco to this recipe and boil over low heat for a couple of hours, then such a tool can be used immediately to combat aphids and caterpillars.

A plant such as tobacco will help to "light" aphids. Raw tops will need a kilogram, and dry raw materials - 100 g. It is first insisted for two or three days in 10 liters of water, and then boiled for a couple of hours. Before use, the product is diluted with clean water 1: 2.

Another delicacy that aphids and mites are fleeing from is citrus fruits. The peel of oranges and tangerines is suitable not only for making candied fruits from it, but also for fighting gluttonous insect pests. To do this, take 1 liter of water for 100 g of cleaning. To make an infusion poisonous for parasites, it is left in a dark place for five days.

Walnut is too tough for the Colorado potato beetle

If a walnut grows in your garden, consider that you have an effective free remedy to combat such a formidable pest as the Colorado potato beetle. To combat it, a decoction is prepared according to this recipe: 100 g of green leaves are taken for 2 liters of water. Raw materials are crushed, poured with water and placed on the stove. Boil the broth for no more than 10 minutes. The pure broth is not used. To process the beds for 10 liters of clean water, only 200 g of the product are taken.

Yarrow strength and spider mite

It can be very difficult to get rid of a tick. But this parasite also has a rule in nature. This pest does not like yarrow-based broth. Yarrow should be harvested at the beginning of flowering. It can be cooked both green and dried. If they take green grass, then its mass should be about 2.5 kg. In dry form, this dose is reduced by three times - about 800 g. Yarrow is poured with water of 10 liters and this mass is boiled for about half an hour. The broth can be used within five days. After that, it loses its insecticidal power.

It is unreasonably rare to take burdock to fight parasites. And from it you can also make an effective tool for protecting your personal plot. Leaves and petioles are harvested during the flowering period. And the roots are harvested in the autumn months. A third of the bucket of weed is filled with water to the brim. They insist for three days. This remedy helps to cope with whitewash and scoop.
