But there are species of this plant that are very fond of bright light, and shading for them is a categorically dangerous circumstance. It will not be so difficult for a novice florist to grow it. It does not need constant watering, but it is recommended to moisten and spray it. To carry out this procedure, it is best to use settled water, so that white limescale does not form on the leaves.
The plant does not need excessively frequent watering. It should only be watered when the soil in the pot is dry to the touch. If the soil in the container is very dry, then even in this case, the plant can be saved. To do this, the pot with the plant must be placed in a container of water for ten minutes and immediately rehabilitated, but the remaining water must necessarily drain. Such experiments should not be performed too often. Such manipulations can harm the plant.
In order not to dry out the soil in the pot, you need to protect the plant from heating batteries in winter. In winter, the plant will feel good at a temperature of at least twelve degrees, but drafts are very dangerous for the flower. If you do not follow certain rules, then the plant will instantly lose its foliage, but if the conditions of detention are immediately improved, then it will soon recover back.
It is worth considering that the chef is growing slowly. Therefore, a young plant should be replanted no more than once a year. This procedure should be carried out in the autumn season. For a mature plant, a transplant will be enough once every three, or even four, years. Determining whether a plant needs a transplant is not difficult. To do this, you need to carefully remove the plant from the container, and look at the root system, assessing the need for transplanting into a wide container. In order to transplant a plant, it must be removed from the previous container, manually remove the remnants of the earth from the roots, placing them in a new container. It is advisable to pick up a new pot at least three centimeters wider than the previous one.
It is also necessary to create a drainage layer so that the root system can breathe oxygen. Expanded clay is perfect for the drainage layer. It should be covered with earth, fix the flower and pour out the rest of the soil. It is best to use a slightly acidic type of soil. It is advisable to buy a soil mixture suitable for palm trees and palm plants.

This method helps to transplant the plant without damaging the root system in the process, because the root ball does not have to be disturbed. A layer of drainage must be placed in a new container, the chefler removed from the previous container must be fixed and covered with the remnants of the earth. After all these procedures, the plant must be watered immediately.
If it is not possible to completely replace the earth, then you can instead replace its layers, which have already outlived their usefulness. In this case, the upper layers should be loosened, removed, and another layer of soil should be poured into these areas.
