It should also be understood that too large windows visually load the whole picture of your design. Also, the view from the outside with huge windows will not always be harmonious and beautiful - it is important here, even in the planning process, to carefully consider their size. Thus, the ideal window size is a rectangle 80 cm wide and 130 cm high. The window sill, for the best stability and appearance of the entire structure, should be located no higher than 90-100 cm from the floor, and the upper threshold of the window should be at the level of 200-220 cm.

Opening in double-leaf windows can be either hinged or hinged. It is important to take into account the proportions of the valves, which should have a ratio of 3: 5. This ratio is called the "golden section" in design and construction. Windows can be either swing, swing-out or tilt. The first ones open only in one direction, the second ones can also open inward, the third ones - only from the top. Hinged windows are used to equip stairways and similar premises.
