Today, both pensioners and young people are puzzled by their health. Seed sprouts are a healing product, a bioenergetic supplement. They are sold everywhere, but it is better to grow them at home. Consider options for purchased systems. We will tell you how to make a "device" with your own hands and how to germinate seeds and grains
The benefits of seedlings
Any seed gives life to a new plant. Its composition is unique - it is a "core" charged with energy. All components of seeds are aimed at nutrition, cell development. Seed sprouts contain vitamins and enzymes that are beneficial to humans. Nutritionists say that this product supports strength, tones organs, rejuvenates. Wheat sprouts, chickpeas, legumes are added to soup, salads, side dishes.
This is an energy low-calorie dietary supplement that helps in weight management. It has a positive effect on the circulatory, vascular, endocrine system, heart, joints, liver, skin. When sprouted seeds are included in the diet, immunity and energy increase.
Today it will not be difficult to buy ready-to-eat sprouts. But it's better to grow them yourself. With a seed sprout at home, you will always be provided with quality, fresh produce.
The most useful are seedlings up to 5 cm. Those that are more than 15 cm long are considered useless.
Ready sprout options
There are several types of home sprouters in the store. They do not require soil.
• Traditional ones are presented in the form of plastic, clay, porcelain containers. They are convenient, but mucus appears on the grains - frequent washing of the seeds is required.
• The spouter consists of several rounded containers stacked on top of each other. Water is poured into the lower container, seeds are placed in the rest. A rotating sprinkler is installed in the central part. With the help of a mini pump, moisture is supplied to the seeds.
• The micro farm has an irrigation system and is large in size. Designed for the germination of all types of seeds, including legumes and cereals. Irrigation takes place in the form of fog, which is created by a generator. Such a system is considered the best option: silent operation, mucus does not form.
• Aerosad is a universal device for obtaining seedlings and growing plants. Works on the principle of aeroponics, compact size. Many models are fully automated and backlit. In such conditions, greens are distilled (parsley, arugula, cross-salad, dill, etc.).
How to make a sprout
A home sprout is made from plastic containers for storing food. For work you will need: a small drill, a screwdriver, a marker, two plastic containers. One with a lid (h 15 cm). The second one is slightly larger, so that the first one enters into it and does not reach the bottom of 1-2 cm.
Mark and drill multiple holes in the upper container before assembling. The result should be a colander-like bottom. Then the prepared container is placed on a larger container, covered with a lid. Ready.
Seed germination process
In a homemade device, you can germinate any seeds. Place a napkin or piece of paper towel at the bottom of the top container (with holes). Above - a layer of washed seeds.
Pour water into the lower container, put the upper one on it. The water should slightly cover the grains. After they swell, the water is drained. Usually 12 hours are enough for this, 6-8 are enough for wheat.
After removing water from the pan, the germinator is covered with a lid. It is advisable to leave it in a warm place until the sprouts hatch. When seedlings appear, it is advisable to lower the temperature. If the sprout has reached 3 mm, and you have not eaten the product, place the container in the refrigerator.
It is impossible to stop the growth that has begun. The process is progressing rapidly. The best way to extend the useful life is with a glass jar. Transfer the sprouts to a clean jar, cover with a napkin and refrigerate. Growth there will slow down and the useful life will be extended. Without loss of quality, the product can lie in such conditions for no more than three days.
Second storage method. Rinse the sprouts and the top container with holes, the lid is no longer needed. Wrap it with gauze / cloth and refrigerate. You need to use it in three days.

Presowing Seed Treatment. Part 2
Creation of the most favorable conditions for improving germination is the primary task of pre-sowing seed treatment. Basically, the choice of pre-sowing treatment methods, of course, depends on the crops. Since the effect of different types of treatment is not the same, it is extremely important to observe the order of these treatments, as well as their compatibility. It is definitely not worth subjecting the same seeds to all processing methods at once
