Katananche is a perennial plant that can reach a height of about sixty centimeters.

Care and cultivation of katananche

Reproduction of katananche
Reproduction of katananche can occur both by dividing the bush and by using seeds. Reproduction of this plant can also occur by self-sowing. If you choose seed propagation, then you will need to sow seeds for seedlings at the end of March. Seeds must be spread over the surface of the substrate, which will be loose. As for open ground, seedlings should be planted here either at the beginning of June, or already at the end of May. It is noteworthy that the distance between the plants should be kept: the distance between the katananche should be about thirty centimeters. The plant should be planted with an earthen clod: in this way, the plant will be able to take root much faster in a new place.
