In almost every summer cottage or in a private courtyard, there is a plot on which, for some reason, nothing grows: it does not take root well, the plot is heavily shaded, sloping, and so on. There can be many reasons. And this area is "callous" to everyone's eyes. What to do with him? And plant a microbiota on it
First, it is very beautiful. Secondly, it is extremely undemanding to the site. Thirdly, it is low and covers the ground with a continuous carpet, which means there will be less dust in the air.
Short description
Microbiota is a coniferous plant belonging to the Cypress family. By the way, this is a rare species of plants, numbering in its form only one single plant. The microbiota was discovered less than a hundred years ago by the scientist Shishkin.
The microbiota is a low plant, it grows in breadth, and not upward. The growth rate is very small, about 1-2 centimeters per year, not more. She loves well-lit areas, but grows well in the shade. It is undemanding to the soil, it takes root well in any soil, even in rocky.
Landing
You can plant both single bushes and small groups. When planting, be sure to keep in mind that the microbiota does not grow upward, but in breadth and for some time (several years) the site will be covered with creeping plants, like a rug.
For planting, we choose a bright place, but if this is not the case, do not worry - the microbiota grows well in a shady place. The most important thing that makes this plant a welcome guest on the site is that it is not at all demanding on the soil and takes root perfectly anywhere. But, nevertheless, the holes require a little preparation.
So, we make the holes at a distance of a meter and a half from each other, at the very bottom of the hole we pour crushed stone with a layer of 12-15 centimeters, then add a layer of 15-20 centimeters from the mixture on top, consisting of 1 part of sand, 2 parts of peat or compost and 3 parts of sod or sod land.
Before planting in an adult plant, you need to prune the roots so that the root is compact. This rule does not apply to a young plant. We lower the plant into the hole, while positioning the root collar as you like: it can be deepened by about 2 centimeters, or you can leave it on the surface. We fall asleep gently with moist soil. That's it, the landing is complete.
Care
Leaving is not at all difficult and does not require much time and effort from you. Microbiota does not like wet soil, so it should be watered only when the soil is dry. Moreover, watering is not plentiful, about 8 liters of water per well. Once every 2 years, it is advisable to feed with nitroammophos in the amount of 250 grams per square meter. And the last thing the microbiota needs is sprinkling during dry periods. It is best to spend it in the evening.
Note that the microbiota does not like pruning and does not tolerate it very well. Usually this operation is carried out only to form the crown, if necessary. Duration - early spring, until May. And it is advisable not to cut more than 2 centimeters, otherwise the plant may get sick.
Loosening of the soil is periodically required. Young plants loosen to a depth of 10 centimeters, adults - to a depth of 15 centimeters.
It is not necessary to shelter from frost for the winter, the microbiota easily tolerates frosts, but the sun's rays are dangerous for the plant, the microbiota may develop sunburn. Therefore, it is advisable to cover it with spruce branches for the winter.
Reproduction
Microbiota propagates in two ways: by seeds or cuttings. But both methods are quite laborious and ineffective. When propagating by seeds, you need to create special conditions and constantly monitor them, otherwise the seeds will not hatch or the plants will die. And when propagated by cuttings, about 30% of the planted material takes root. You can increase this amount with stimulants, but even with their use, no more than 70% of cuttings will take root more.

We Get Rid Of Kivsyak On The Site
Kivsiak is one of the main pests of vegetable crops grown in greenhouses. These worm-like creatures live in the soil and are polyphagous. These parasites often enter greenhouses together with manure. The harm from kivsyaks lies in their damage to the underground parts of the stems and the root system of various vegetable crops - on these parts of the plants, pests gnaw out small sores. Plants affected by these centipedes wither and gradually die off. The amount of ki eaten by each
