Grozdovnik lanceolate (Latin Botrychium lanceolatum) is a representative of the Grozdovnik genus, belonging to the Uzhovnikovy family. Refers to relict species. Fern. It is found naturally in North America, northern European countries, Mongolia and the Far East. Typical habitats are mountainous areas, sandy fields, meadows, forest zones.

Characteristics of culture

The lanceolate cormorant is represented by perennial plants not exceeding 20 cm in height. The leaf-like shoot in the singular is divided into two parts - sterile and spore-bearing.

The sterile part is feathery, sessile, and has a triangular shape. Feathers are lanceolate, obtuse, toothed. The spore-bearing part is pinnately dissected, has the shape of a panicle, and is equipped with a shortened stem. Lanceolate cormorant reproduces by spores. The plant enters sporulation in mid - late summer.

It should be noted that in some countries, including Russia, lanceolate grape beetle is included in the Red Book. In Russia, these are the Red Data Books of the Chelyabinsk, Vologda, Arkhangelsk, Tomsk, Kirov regions, etc.

Application in medicine

The lanceolate thistle does not belong to the category of pharmacopoeial plants of the Russian Federation, and, therefore, is not used in the official medicine of the country. However, this does not deprive the fern of its beneficial properties. But you need to use it with great care, strictly according to the instructions and only after consulting a doctor.

Lanceolate cormorant is endowed with hemostatic, astringent, wound healing, antiseptic, anthelmintic properties. It is just a find in the presence of wounds, cuts, burns, etc. on the body. By the way, adherents of traditional medicine recommend using grapefruit lanceolate for snake bites.

The lanceolate grapefruit, like many ferns, has many contraindications. In no case should it be used by pregnant and lactating women, young children, allergy sufferers, people suffering from stomach ulcers, kidney and cardiovascular diseases. It is also prohibited for individual intolerance. An overdose of a plant promises dizziness, nausea, vomiting, a sharp decrease in pressure.
