Armeriiform carnation is one of the plants of the family called carnation, in Latin the name of this plant will sound as follows: Diantus armeria L. As for the name of the family of carnation, in Latin it will be like this: Caryophyllaceae Juss.

Description of armeriiform carnation

Armeriiform carnation is either an annual or a biennial herb. Usually this plant has several stems, the height of which reaches from ten to forty-five centimeters. Such stems will be straight or at the base it can be ascending, these stems will be either simple or branched. It is noteworthy that at the bottom such stems are almost glabrous, and at the top they are densely and shortly pubescent. The lower leaves of this plant are oblong-lanceolate and also obtuse. In this case, the upper and middle leaves of the Armeriiform carnation are either linear or linear-lanceolate, as well as sessile and pubescent, and the length of such leaves will be about two to five centimeters, while the width will be about one to three millimeters. The flowers of this plant can be both on short pedicels and sessile. These flowers are clustered at the very top of the stems and branches in rather few-flowered heads. The cup is cylindrical, but the length will be about seventeen to twenty millimeters. The plate of the petal itself will be oblong, the length will be about four to five millimeters, the plate itself is painted in pink-purple tones, endowed with darker spots. The capsule of this plant will be shorter than the calyx. The flowering of this plant occurs in the period from June to the month of August.

Armeriiform carnation in natural conditions is found on the territory of Belarus, in the Caucasus, as well as in the Crimea, the European part of Russia: the Lower Don, Baltic and Black Sea regions. In addition, this plant can also be found in Ukraine: in the Dnieper region and the Carpathians. For growth, the plant prefers deciduous forests, forest edges and shrubs.

Description of the medicinal properties of Armeriiform cloves

Armeriiform carnation is endowed with very valuable medicinal properties, for medicinal purposes it is recommended to use leaves, flowers, fresh juice, as well as the herb of this plant. The concept of grass includes stems, flowers and leaves of an armeriiform carnation.

It should be noted that traces of saponins were found in the roots and leaves of this plant. It is noteworthy that essential oil is found in the flowers of this plant. In case of neurasthenia, it is recommended to use an infusion of leaves and flowers of an armeriiform carnation. For colitis, intestinal diseases and enterocolitis, fresh or dry herb of this plant in the form of tea should be used. It is noteworthy that the flowers of this plant are used as a spicy-aromatic agent.

For colitis and enterocolitis, it is recommended to use the following remedy: for its preparation, take two tablespoons of dry or fresh herb of this plant in half a liter of boiling water. Then such a mixture should be infused for about forty minutes, after which the resulting mixture should be thoroughly filtered. This remedy should be taken warm in slow sips about one glass two to three times a day before the start of a meal.

With neurasthenia, the following remedy will be effective: take one tablespoon of dry crushed leaves and flowers for one glass of boiling water. The resulting mixture should be infused for one hour, and then strain very thoroughly. Such a remedy should be taken three to four times a day, two tablespoons.

For uterine bleeding, a remedy such as freshly squeezed juice is recommended, which should be taken one tablespoon three times a day.
