It is important to remember that when transplanting, the plant will need to cut the roots in half. As for the composition of the land mixture, you will need to take four parts of sod land, two parts of leafy land, as well as one part each of sand, humus and coniferous land. In addition, it is permissible to use specialized soil, which is intended for coniferous crops. It is noteworthy that you can choose different soil acidity: acidic, neutral and slightly acidic.

It is important to remember that for growing this plant will require a fairly spacious room, which is due to the fact that the variegated araucaria is endowed with rather wide spread branches. In the case when the air temperature is very high, the needles of this plant can fall off, while not only the needles, but also the lower branches can fall off. It is noteworthy that such a negative reaction can also occur to the dustiness of the plant, as well as to the excessive drying out of the earthen coma. The branches of this plant are painted in rich and bright tones of dark green. These needles are quite soft and subulate, while the needles of the plant are slightly curved upward and are tetrahedral. The length of the needles is about two centimeters, and the needles themselves are arranged in a spiral. It is noteworthy that the color of some varieties of this plant will be bluish-green.
