In open and closed ground, vegetables yield high yields when using natural dressings. I offer 3 folk recipes for seedlings and adult plants that work in any conditions

Recipe 1. Fermented "herbal tea"

A powerful fertilizer from which vegetables grow and bear fruit well is fermented cut grass. If you don't know what to do with your lawn after mowing, use this recipe.

To prepare a fermented top dressing, you need grass chopped with a lawn mower or finely chopped weeds without seeds. The mass is placed in a garbage bag (120-240 liters) made of black polyethylene. If the herbs are not juicy, add 1-2 glasses of water. The bag is tightly tied and left in a sunny place for 2-4 days (the time depends on the volume and weather).

On a sunny day, the bag will quickly heat up, the process of active decomposition and the formation of useful microflora will start. At this time, the temperature inside rises to + 50 … + 60, in such conditions pathogenic microorganisms and insect pests die. The output is a green-brown mass with a pleasant aroma. It is a raw material for safe, nutritious feeding that enhances growth and fruiting.

The bucket is half filled with fermented grass and filled with water to the top. All this is mixed and infused for 1-2 hours. Use the liquid from the bucket undiluted. Plants are watered on damp ground under the stem, at the rate of 1 liter per bush.

After watering, a useful microflora is formed on the ground, which protects against late blight and other problems. Fermented top dressing is superior in nutritional power to manure. Plants grow stronger, develop better, and there is protection against diseases.

Recipe 2. Feeding tomatoes and cucumbers with yeast

The yeast contains saccharomyces fungi. They have a beneficial effect on the microflora of the earth, accelerate the decomposition of organic matter, and protect against diseases. Yeast feeding enriches plants with microelements, protein, nitrogen.

Yeast - "live fertilizer", is a natural stimulator of the growth of the aerial part and root system, it is safe for plants and humans. Fertilizer is prepared in a 3 liter jar or bucket. Dry granules are used, for 2 liters of water you need 3 sachets (30 g). For fermentation, add half a glass of old jam or sugar.

The workpiece is infused in a warm place for 2-3 days. If jam was used, it is filtered and diluted before use. Yeast top dressing is applied in the form of root watering. The proportions of dilution are different: for vegetables, berry crops: 10 l of water + 1 tbsp. "Brews". For tomatoes, cucumbers 10 l + a quarter of a glass. Watering frequency:

• after transplanting / disembarking seedlings;

• after the end of rooting;

• during the budding period.

It is not recommended to feed with yeast more often 3 times, since the soil is oversaturated with nitrogen, the level of potassium decreases. In case of regular / annual use in one area, it is necessary to apply ash or lime every 4 years.

Recipe 3. Feeding cucumbers and tomatoes with ash

The value of wood ash lies in its composition. It contains many trace elements useful for plants: potassium is present in large quantities, as well as phosphorus, magnesium, etc. The lack of these substances leads to poor plant development, a decrease in yield. The proportions of elements depend on the type of wood: deciduous species have the highest potassium content.

There are two ways to feed your cucumbers and tomatoes with ash.

1. A handful of ash is added to the planting holes, mixed with soil, watered. After that, a seedling is planted.

2. Ash infusion is prepared for 1-2 days (the longer it costs, the better). For 10 liters of hot water, 8-10 tbsp is taken. l. ash. During the infusion period, you need to mix. Top dressing with ash is carried out up to 6 times per season, consumption - 0.5 liters per plant.

Ash is used to prevent fungal diseases. Dry powder is applied to the ground around cucumbers and tomatoes and the lower parts of the shoots.
